Several hours of antiquing this past Sunday yielded very little: a half-dozen boxes of blades, and an Ever Ready brush I hadn't seen before. (I already had Luka.)
On my quest to find a gillette slim or fatboy adjustable, stumbled upon this for us $14.50; date code C1
I won my first PIF, and received my items this morning: a box of Don Juan blades, and an Arko shave stick. I'm looking forward to trying them both out. Thanks, Weeper Warrior!
If the SE blades are anything like the DE Don Juans, you'll want to give them a little stopping first to smooth them out. I prefer to use the inside of a water glass (made of glass or ceramic), but you can even use the palm of your hand if needed. Let us know how they shave.

Birthday Haul, still have to order a Kamisori but soon I'll get my precious. -King 1k -Sigma 13k -Artificial Nagura -Red & Green buffing compound for cleaning up razors. I get great edges on my 8k time to kick it up a notch though!
More razor hones I had a Norton 4k/8k combo now I have a 1k for faster bevel setting and a 13k finishing hone. I just did both my straights with the 13k, did some stropping and I have a feeling there will definitely be a wow factor tomorrow morning!
Very nice haul, Justin. I am currently using the Norton as well, plus a 12k finishing stone. Coincidently, returning home today I found a package containing white, grey & green buffing compounds. I have red jewelers rouge already. So much honing & polishing to do, so little time….
