That means a lot Kerry. Its what I'm most proud of. Haha I love my gun collection but my shaving gear is the most fun.
No I think My Rolls Razor shelf alone would break your wallet. The three Imerial 2's without boxes on the right stack came in yesterday. But you do have me in quality soaps and creams.
I have a lot of razors that I find interesting, quirky and yes, even attractive - but when I opened up the box today and laid my eyes upon the SE L'Essor razor my razor-loving heart skipped a beat... This is, to me, one of the most beautiful razors I've ever had the pleasure of calling mine. It is not overly ornate or fancy in any way - there is an almost industrial, clinal, functional look to it - but everything comes together in an absolutely stunning razor. The loading mechanism is in itself pure genius and everything about it feels so solid and oozes of craftmanship long gone. The razor I lucky enough to buy (that also came with a Thiers-Issard straight) - might just be the best $26 I've ever spent. It's in 'near mint' condition with no scratches or plate loss. The pictures below are even before I have had a chance to clean it up. It's hard to really convey how it looks in a couple of photos so brace yourself for an upcoming 'review' of it - with photos and video - in the days to come. But here are at least two. Vive La France!
Thanks sir, yes it is a purty razor I'm in awe of it. Not sure what it is about it...but if this shaves well with a modern razor (it seems to fit well) then this will be a solid keeper.
