    Of course you can modify a DE blade and load it up in there just fine, just saying. I have an Astra sp sitting in mine right now.

    I stopped by a barber supply store on my way home and picked up some Rapira and Bolzano blades. I then stopped by Razor Emporium and picked up a new soap, Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Gondolier, and some Gillette Silver Blues. I noticed a scuttle sitting on a shelf and the employee asked me if I knew what it was. Thanks to TSD I did and she said "it's yours". Turns out it has a small chip in it and they can't sell it and since I've been the first person to even look at it she let me have it. I had to hold back on buying anything else. She was going through a box of vintage razors, a bunch of injectors in boxes, a few DE's and a nos blue lady Gillette. I had to wipe off my chin.

    Yes! Without sounding like my wife it's a lovely scent. The kind of stuff that when I walk by the bottle throughout the day I take a whiff nice.
    The bottle only is worth the price of admission. Classic.

    What a great scuttle, use it well!

    I bought a scuttle once and now I have several. Like any shaving gear, they are insidious once they get under your skin.

    In case you stop by there again, ask to look at Matt's collection of vintage Gillette paraphernalia in the office. The man has a collection of razors and other Gillette items that is awe inspiring. They are almost all mint or NOS.

    Their store is maybe 10 minutes from my house. They had a lot of vintage advertising around. They told me they are looking to move to a larger location where they can have a store front. Most likely be closer to downtown Phoenix.

    Postman just dropped off a backup bottle of Lime ASB (love this stuff) and a refill puck of Island Man (in my own container for now). Rod included a AS sample of Port Au Prince.
