Wow, what a shave today using the Dual Comb one. Both sides are very similar but the open comb I would have to say is just a little more aggressive but both sides seem aggressive but very smooth!
Received two hippie-natural-organic deodorants. They smell ok - a bit too sweet for my taste maybe. Based on scent alone I don't think I'll re-order but who knows they might have magical properties still to be discovered. Also received a NIB Schick Platinum DE. So, yeah, that makes it THREE Schick Platinum DEs for me...two, like this, NIB.... It was hard not to buy it at $10. Oh be quiet! .
Hahaha it's not like you will smell your arm pits after you apply them. If they do a good job, why let the scent determine if you get them again
Hahaha sorry I'm gonna stop =P I happen to love my old spice deo sticks. I get them WAAAY pricier than you do. Mine are about 7$ per stick, but that's still much cheaper than my Go2 a couple years ago. I always used Dior Fahrenheit which cost about 30-40$, I liked the smell and performance. But man the price was a killer But Uhmm.. The sticker where very flowery in those deo sticks. What did you expect? A smell like axe? Or old spice? Hahaha But bourbon vanilla sounds nice =)
Couple of things from yesterday. Two Old Spice mugs - one of which has a NOS cake of soap still in it's wrapper. I've been collecting mugs for quite awhile now and only a couple weeks ago had I found one with a cake of soap in it and I wanted to try it but hesitated since it was NOS but now that I've got two I can keep one for the museum and shave with the other. Not pictured is a Lady Gillette (Blue Starburst) that I soaked and cleaned last night and shaved with this morning and got a remarkably good shave from. Some items from Maggard's A picture of the big Omega boar that I bought next to my Semogue 1305 for perspective And three special samples - a freebie from the Captain, a new unreleased product from Maggard's to test, and a special aftershave from B&M just for yesterday's event. I'm not able to describe the scent so maybe one of the other guys who were there could give a good scent description.
