13 days door to door from Turkey to California and less than $30.00 shipped. I'm impressed!

I've never thought about using them to hold razors. I've only used them to hold brushes. I suppose it might be worth a try.

A long time ago I bought some of that rubber dip stuff that you're supposed to use for coating bare tool handles but I never got around to dipping my stamp holder prongs.

For the vet heads out there (vet as in vetiver, that is): Down Home Summer from Nanny's Silly Soaps is The Thing. I might have found my vetiver grail. I have been a lavender (or floral altogether) no go man, but this blend of vetiver and lavender is just the right level of earthy yet floral and fresh. An all seasons scent but particularly fit for warmer months, and performance is up there with the best. Highly recommended!

Here's my recent haul. Ranges from budget to definitely not budget..

These are different soaps from everything else, I'm telling you! B&M Roam acquired from @Marverel and a TSR LE soap from P&B. The brush is a Virginia Sheng 26mm, not used apart from a few cleaning rounds. And then there's the prize: a OneBlade razor, bought through a Sharpologist deal.

Not the one I wanted, perhaps, but the one I needed. It's a monster of a brush.
[IMG]Here it is next to my 2001 Two-Band, and next to a Wee Scot for reference.

For some reason, I thought it was only slightly bigger than a normal brush. I'd never seen one really next to anything that would give an indication of it's true size.

I'm sure you said Tubby 1 somewhere, but it looks more like a 2? I have 2 and the knot is 26 and way within reason, but the diameter of the handle is simply for bigger hands than mine. Very soft knot, if lacking somewhat in backbone. How is yours?

Mine has quite a bit of backbone, actually. It was sold to me as a Tubby 1, confirmed with seller.

The knot size is 27mm, indicating that it actually is a Tubby 2. I suppose I should feel gypped...

But I don't. :D Well spotted, Halvor. Well spotted, indeed.

Avnish should know his product, but I guess not then. And I suppose the bigger should cost more than the smaller anyway, so you must have done a good deal! Quite different from your 2001 though!?

I'm guessing you can't wait to lather up and start mowing :)

Not sure if this is a general experience, but It took me a few shaves to get the hang of the alumi, coming from the stainless. It basically took a little more pressure. Enjoy your shave!
