Actually only the razor / handle combination is new for this month really; a fellow Dutch shaver was so kind to donate his Fatip Grande handle to me, so that I could transform my Fatip Retro to a Grande razor

I received this great Single Ring razor that I snagged on eBay. Turns out it used to belong to @Jorvaljr . It even came with two old blades. I always wondered about them. I measured one and found out that it is .0065" thick. I measured a modern Wilkie at .0035" thick. That difference may account for why OTs are so aggressive. They were made for thicker blades.

 

I'm glad you like it! Lol now sanitize those blades and use them... Lol jk.

 

I received a bottle of RR XXX and Amici today, needed a backup.

 

You lucky dog! I've been trying to pick one up, but they've all been out of my price range!

When I first started in this hobby early last year I found one in an antique shop. The guy wanted $20 for it. Not knowing what it was, I passed on it. I've since gone back there, but it was sold.

I received the pif from @barbersurgeon today, lots of great items. I'll be using the Polsilver blade tonight. I love the Old Spice mug, Florida Water and TSD items. I'm also very curious about the razor. I'm thrilled to have won this pif.

That would have been a steal. I did the same thing with a Schick type F before I knew what it was. I still regret that one.

 

Some new samples to try

 

The last of my inbound arrived today. I've now dumped my eBay watch lists and am going to take a break to enjoy what I have.
I bought this lot for the Hallmark, the Lather Catcher and what I thought was a Single Ring. The SR turned out to be a Big Fellow
I also got a modified Gillette where the comb has been carefully removed from one side. I'm sure this one will be aggressive. I'm not sure what possessed somebody to do that.

I also picked up a new mug and a beautiful Hien straight. It's a Kamisori grind and looks to be NOS.

I saw Gillette's After Shave Splash on sale in a local cosmetics store in Turkey for $4.20/12.50TL and bought it immediately

 

Wow that straight looks amazing. And nice haul of Gillette's! Especially the Big Fellow!

I have the Fine sample bottles too. I've yet to use them, I have all of the big bottles except Fresh Vetiver. I'm hoping Fine brings back Lavender. Nice travel size.

 

I tried the American Blend this morning and it was a hit with my wife
