Thanksgiving Week here in the U.S. Time to be grateful for God, country, family and friends (like all of you here at TSD!) But it also doesn't hurt to be grateful for new shave goodies! So post 'em up! Whatcha got?
The first time I heard of Thanksgiving was in 1995 or 1996, probably in a American book or a TV show. Today, I realised that Thanksgiving was composed of thanks and giving. I learn new things everyday.
2007.11.17 1940s Gillette "Milord" TTO. I only paid $5 for it since it has plating issues. It cleaned up nice and works great but visually, it's a mess.
You are correct Sir, I havent applied it after a shave yet but I like the scent on my skin....Wife liked them both too
They are not shave items but they are my two scores of the week, my two biggest hobbies are wet shaving and thriller litterature, pictures of the score below:
in the mail today. Thanks to Mark at superlather.com for the great service and care in packing the Floid Blue. I really enjoy the fresh, clean scent of the Blue. Different from the Italian and Spanish as Isaac said. Great stuff.
Porsche Design Lighter (regular lighter, not torch) Peterson Spigot XL. This one is bigger than most Peterson I’ve seen and uses 9mm filters, which I’m not sure are that great.
Yup, I’ve just tried the Peterson and I’m totally blown away. I was a bit afraid as my other Peterson wasn’t that great a smoker. This one is top-notch and certainly equals my Vauen. I’m kind of relieved because the only pipes that please my eyes are black & silver and Peterson makes 80% of them.
