Fatip came in today. It shaves wonderfully through my tough stubble even with a Dorco.

Bowl in the background is a pewter bowl i found at the thrift store.

I'm rolling in shave soap these last few days. lol.

Today a puck of Cavandish arrived from howtogrowamoustache. If it works as nicely as it smells, I'm in for a real treat.

3 tubes of 444 Aftershave Balm (hope it is as refreshing as everyone sais it is)

    1 x Rapira Classic blades
    1 x Lada blades

Couple of items yesterday. The soap is obviously for the Christmas season and the plan is to shave with a gold razor. The blades are because I only had 60 different blades in my sampler and needed to get past that hurdle.
The Rolls is for parts since I've already got two of them. One complete in a very nice case and a parts razor in a cardboard box that I bought because it had a stone that wasn't cracked. The one I picked up yesterday for $18 only has a chip of the stone left but the case, razor, and strop are in really good shape and it came with a NOS strop still in the original packaging so I really bought it for the strop.

Very, very cool. I have one from 1947, but the stone has a crack across the middle, and the strop is well used. I like yours.

I saw this thing a couple weeks ago and left it alone thinking I've already got two of 'em and what you really need with one of these is the stone because every one I've ever seen is cracked with a piece of tape holding it together and I already scored a good stone but... it just kept calling to me. I kept thinking about that NOS strop and it was there in the antique store and nobody knew about it but me but then I'd think "you're never going to use it cause it's NOS, you're just going to look at it and put it back in the package", but then I'd think "You dummy, it's only $18, just go get it". Sometimes there's just too much stress with this hobby, ya know what I mean? Too much inner turmoil.

Where might one obtain said "t-shirt" garment, may I ask God sir? I believe I could look resplendent in one during my time and space travels.

The 24mm Simpson's LE in best is new along with the Ikon Bulldog II handle. I have used the handle a couple of times on this EJ89 head and absolutely love the weight and knurling (Fantastic!).
