The Haul: November 2014

Wow, that is quite the haul!

 

Picked up a fat handle Gem Junior the other day for 8 bucks at a local antique store. It cleaned up pretty good so I took pictures of it tonight with my other two Gem Juniors. The one with the slim black handle I've had for awhile and the other one I picked up on a trip to St Louis in September this year. I may have already posted pictures of the two I've had but I wanted to show the difference in handle sizes as compared to my most recent acquisition. I haven't shaved with an SE (other than an injector) for quite awhile so I may just pop a blade in it this weekend.

 

That fat handle looks awesome

 

I imagine someday I'll be shaving with a Fat Handle Gem Junior, as it's getting harder by the day to get my fingers to loosen up. Arthritis isn't fun.

Merkur has a couple of fat handles in different colors that might work for you and I'm guessing you could screw the handle onto a different head.
