I have the Fourgere Noir, Lavender and Barbershop and like them. Let us know how you like the mahogany

I have a bit of a cold, so my nose is definitely not at its best, but I do enjoy the scent, although I find it to be a little bit too sweet, and even a bit feminine.

Today was a good day. On my way home from work, i stopped at a local Turkish Supermarket, to see if they carry products (Aftershaves / Eau de Toilettes) from company "Eyüp Sabri Tuncer". What should i say...they did. :) Additionaly i received a package from Spain (Floid Blue Eau de Toilette and Floid Preshave Oil).

The scents are very nice. The Lavendar Water has a very nice scent to it. Not overpowering, not too weak. Just the right mix. The "Küba Tütünü" smells a bit "oriental". It reminds me a bit of Alt Innsbruck and Tabac. A blend of both of them...very very nice. The "Klasik Limon" on the right punches you pure Lemon in your face. Fresh and citrussy with a touch of "smoke" deep in the back. GREAT!!! I´m looking forward to use this water in the summer. Very refreshing.

The Floid Blue Eau de Toilette smells exactly the same as the Aftershave. The ones of you, who enjoyed and loved the Aftershave, will enjoy this scent too. Hope it will stay on my skin for a looooong time. :D Great Barbershop scent which beams me up to a beach, with a cocktail in my hand and watching me walking through the waves...heavenly!!!

    Greetings
    Thorsten

Loved your descriptions Thorsten! I bet that Klassik Limon would get a lot of use in my Den, but they all sound awesome! Great find and thanks for sharing!

Dale, I think you'll enjoy those A-maze-n smoke generators. I've used both the dust and pellet models, including the big tube model.
I tend to prefer the pellets for most long smokes. Plus, the owner of the company is a good guy who stands behind his products. ;)

That's great. I want to cold smoke some cheese, back bacon, and possibly use it for some salmon. Now I just need another torch, the one I have won't work for it.

1965 Slim Adjustable, and two injectors plus blades and Arko. This lot was acquired from the den of @fram773, and is my first foray into older gear. So excited I don't know where to start. Thanks fram773 for making the deal easy to do, box arrived in good condition in two business days!

This month I harvested some fresh Aloe Vera which grows on my property. I had earlier watched a You Tube video on "How To Make Aloe Vera Gel".

Well, I was able to collect a little over three cups of gel. I used a garden variety blender rather than a food processor. I recently began using the gel as a Toner in my SOTD posts. I bought an amber pump bottle from Specialty Bottle and mixed the gel (3 to 1) with Dickinsons Witch Hazel and some menthol. The texture of the Toner is slimy but it dries quickly and it's incredibly COOL and soothing.
I'm wondering how else I can use the gel?

We have the plants also and use them for cuts, sores, skeeter bites or just about any skin ailment.
