My early inclination is GS versus SA in the west final...Denver is gonna struggle.

Warriors versus Davis and the Pelicans tonight...I will be watching!

I watched some Curry last night. As soon as Ray Allen fades away...Curry will inherit the Title of Best Shooter in NBA. The biggest thing I see in the W's this year is vastly improved perimeter and help/side defensive play. Bogut is the real deal. Thompson's defense and offensive ball distribution are up too. I like the energy and heart of Barnes. Team spacing is better on offense. This team has a three-five year window...if they can be like the Spurs and keep contracts smart. Actually, Curry could become the G.O.A.T. as a perimeter shooter in the NBA. I follow Denver because I live here, but am mostly a fan/aficionado of pro ball. I think the GSW are set up right now. And when I look at the guys on the bench, it is obvious they are having fun as a unit. That really helps guys play selfless and smart ball.

I was in elementary school with Kirk Rambis for a short time then we moved to the Blossom Hill area of San Jose. He was thin and gangly and had poor coordination. I also had the pleasure in my adolescent and teen years playing with or against athletes such as Carney Lansford, David Stieb (great all around athlete), Rickey Henderson (Mr. six inch strike zone), Dave Rigetti,Chris Codiroli in baseball, Jeff Toews played for the Miami Dolphins as guard/tackle and he was my guard in Jr. High as I was the quarterback. Even back then Jeff stated he was going to be a pro guard and his brother Loren who I believe was 5 years older than Jeff and I wanted to be a pro linebacker and Loren became a Pittsburgh Steeler. Those two were tough SOB's on the field.

:):)Friday a package arrived from the collection of @Shotwell, purchased through a TSD classified ad posting. Other than some normal wear on the plating, it is a near perfect example of this type of razor. It is actually in slightly better condition than listed, a very cool surprise. Super happy with it!

I have yet to make it down to Adrian to go to Maggard. One of these days. I was close yesterday (in Ann Arbor) but didn't have the time.

    It's worth the trip.
One of the great things about a brick and mortar store is being able to hold things in your hand.
You can't feel a brush or sniff a soap or aftershave shopping online.
Then when you're done you can shake the hand of your vendor who isn't just a storekeeper but someone who shares your passion.

Found these today at a flea market. Looks like the head on the slim is bent. 8:00 each.

These pics are after some time in Dawn dish detergent followed by a once over with a toothbrush and toothpick, followed by a spray of rubbing alcohol.
The slim is damaged. I never picked up on it when I bought them. The black beauty and what I think is an aristocrat are in decent condition.

I'm quite certain it's a 1940's because it has end caps. I love the knurling.
