Got this HeldTite brush that seems to be worth the 99 cents I paid for it. It reminds me quite a bit about an old Rubberset brush I have (see below) but the wooden handle is angled on the HeldTite where on the Rubberset it's round:
Yesterday, this lot arrived from my friend @Marverel in Germany. Proraso Red, lathered one time only and some soap samples, among some interesting Stirling ones. I have used the Red today for my first time. I really really like it, especially the scent. I didn't know what to expect due to polarizing opinions, but it's a winner in this Den

Picked up a 1950 issue of Time magazine for this ad. The magazine also has a Barbasol ad, a Pal blade ad, and a Gem razor ad, if anyone's interested.
This weekends finds : 1) GEM Flying Wing or Bullet Tip in gold tone 1947 2) Gillette Old Type Made in Canada. Thin cap 3) Club blue razor blades The handle is similar to an English 1943 Service Set.
