The Haul: November 2015

Stunning.

 

Snagged this inexpensive Gold Tech because it was the best box I had seen come across my radar. It turns out the razor is in pretty amazing shape as well.

 

I just received my English Ball Tech w/Bakelite Case and unopened pack of Blue blades. All are in excellent shape. Not sure of the era of this Tech/case which is stamped "made in England". I'm guessing post war '40's or early '50's. Any help in dating would be appreciated. Due for a blade/razor change tomorrow so I'll get her ready to go tonight.

 

It's scary looking. The Maiden voyage will be Wednesday's SOTD.

Four knots came in today: a Virginia Sheng 24mm two-band finest badger and three 21x70mm horse hair knots.

 

My brother is a Gillette Tech man and he reckons the English ones are the Best ones...

Just received 2 injectors. 1 PAL inject-matic and 1 Schick G1. The G1 has not been used it still has the brass blank in it and a full thing of blades in the injector. The box is pristine. need to clean up some gunk on it

 

You are going to need more space for all of the good stuff you have been finding!

 

Pretty sweet with the 7 o'clock blade its deceptively mild but certainly leaves my face smooth after 2 passes!

 

This is the type C3 that landed here today!

Sample pack of blades to try in my B2 Goose. Still waiting for the Mongoose to get here though....

 

My Schick C1 was waiting at the mailbox today. I cycled 15 blades through it and it performed flawlessly.

I hauled a bottle of family dollar spice after shave, $2.15, major score.
