"New" brush arrived about a month overdue. Should have been a 'September Haul'... Mis-delivered by the USPS to someone else's residence, where it sat for about 4-5 weeks before whomever received it finally decided to get it to my front door step. And yes, the package had been opened. An Omega 626— a "high grade Silvertip Pure Badger brush" that has a great, thick knot with super soft tips. Decent backbone. Pretty brush. I'm glad to finally have it. Former owner got it as gift & never really used it. Turned into a pretty good deal for me...
Here is my belated last Haul for October. Things came on Halloween,so it has to be good. Maggard MR3 Handle ...here the handle with head...(it´s the same head as the Edwin Jagger DE89 has-->but by far not that qualitiy) ...here a comparison between the R41 handle and the Maggard MR3... ...additional i got a sample of the Maggard "Sweet Orange" Pre-shave Oil. I didn´t tried it yet,but i will do it in near future. ...and the last item that arrived yesterday was the following: I like the handle a lot. It´s well build (not the quality like iKon or Mühle), but for tis price it´s worth every money. Now i have to know,how i get the handle a little heavier. It´s not a lightweight,but it could have a "little" more weight. First shave with the handle will be on Sunday.I don´t know in which "head-handle configuration",but i have a thought in mind... Ganz toll mein Freund. Das ist eine fabelhafte Sammlung! Das ist prima - ich bin damit sehr beeindruckt! Ich mag die Speick Rasiercreme sehr. Wenn Du empfindliche Haut hast, ist dieses Zeug ein echter Glückstreffer.
