David, I put two smashed Arko sticks into a container, poked holes using a toothpick, and dropped *some M-Bomb over the holes, spread with toothpick, let soak in for a couple of days. Now I have mentholated Arko. *10-12 drops. Be very very careful. Start off slow, add more. If you dare... No really, try maybe 5-6.
Nice!!! May I ask where you bought yours from? I really love the idea of badger and buffalo working together to provide a natural work of art.
My first shave with the Pumpkin Harvest was BBS. It whipped up into a pile of rich and slick lather. The Deeeelicious SPICY pumpkin scent reminded me of Mom's Pumpkin Pie just out of the oven. Ummmm!
September and October were good months for me. This is my third Red Cross Tech. I'm not sure what it is I like about them. I just do. I found my White Whale! Not one . . . not two . . . but THREE Psychos with an original key! WOO HOO! Or, as my wife would say, "Merry Christmas." Finally, even though they have nothing to do with shaving, I got a cool set of conga drums.
What you could do is to load the brush with soap and put some drops of the m-bomb on the palm of your hand and "load" it into the brush like you are hand lathering the soap and them go to your face and begin face lathering the soap =)
Shouldn't those drums be standing with help of legs? To let the sound flow through the air? If they are flat on the ground like that the sounds "suffocates" doesn't it?
There are several different methods for playing congas. I learned the traditional way . . . the drums on each side (tumba, the large drum; quinto, the small drum) sit flat on the floor, while I keep the middle drum (conga) tilted between my legs. That allows it to "ring" more. I can also lift it with my knees to allow it to ring even more. I don't play on carpet, though; that muffles them too much. I guess it's like shaving . . . YMMV.
Another Black Beauty purchase from flea market. This time the seller asked 12 dollars for this piece. I'll give it to a friend of mine as a birthday present. I haven't finished cleaning yet. Once I finish cleaning, I'll upload before&after photos. And I also saw a nos rapira razor blade. Although it wasn't opened it has 9 blades in it instead of 10. Anyway, I've just paid 10 cents for it. I'll keep the blade for myself
My wife's Lady Gillette Pin. Wife's Birthday present, along with a 1963 Lady Gillette Blue Star Razor.
