My Henckels came today. I love the style and build of it. I just hope I can get an edge on the blade.
Those are Very Hard Steel..They Can Cut Quite Slow...Do Not Force them to Cut..Those Blades Should be able to Shave form the Bevel Hone & Even Pass the Hanging Hair Test from there as Well..Oh Yeah.. Billy..
My Mint Wedge Joseph Rogers Arrived in the Post NOS..Its Very Old as these are Ivory Scales & its Her Majesties Marking on in...Just Under a 4/8th I Reckon & 44 MM Length Blade... It Must have Shrunk.. I Might Just Keep it and Hone it Up as it wasn't Expensive...Its a Miniature Shaving Wedge...Must be Rare as I cant Come across anything on it...I thought it was a 7/8th Full Size Job.. Life is Full of Surprizes.. Billy..
Maybe a mustache razor with a "big" blade? Very rare indeed. Should make shaving any difficult spots under the chin a snap.
Its the Same Size as a Rolls Razor Hollow Ground Blade or any Other SE Hollow Ground Blade..It will Shave like a Rolls Razor.. Billy..
That Gem was originally in a travel set. I have the same one. If you compare to another 1912 you will see it has a shorter head profile. Great shaver it is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It is great...I tried it last night with a Ted Pella, and it was almost as smooth as my Tech. My boy won't be getting this one for a while.
