Via eBay France, a 1935 Gillette France invoice to a retailer for bleue (blue) blades, two No. 77 sets, three No. 44 sets and three No. 33 sets. This'll look nice in a frame...
2 Tubs of Fitness Shaving Soap (Nice Cherry Scent) 1 Bar of Omega Mirtillo Soap (Blueberry) 1 Sample of Booster Iced Lime Pinaud Clubman After Shave Superior 70 Bay Rum
I usually don't post my hauls But, I'm so stoked that I've finally found this. I've been looking for over 2 years. It's just a Super Speed. A 1985 ( F1) with waffle grip. The package had been opened but the razor looks to be unused. It's not that old, it may not be even that rare. But I've come across multiple Barbasols over the last two years in the wild, but only one 1985 SS. I'm sure now that I finally have one I'll start to see them all over.
Wife & son stayed in Colorado for a couple of weeks after I came home with our daughter. She hit a Mountian Man fair in Creed (we have a place not far from there) while she was there and bought me a couple of razors. So I got a W. Greaves straight from about 1840 and a very rare 2 handled lady straght from about 1820:biggrin:.
Nice score! You should be fine boiling. I usually do a scrubbing bubbles soak, but boiling shouldn't hurt it.
Nothing major, got a puck of Williams, a tube of Reamir & Co. shave cream, some Brut AS balm, and (sight) another VDH boar brush that I'll never use...I got it in desperation and wound of not even taking it out of the box. Not a fan. Also got one of my straights honed...technically not a haul but I can use it now
Out on errands the other day I wound up in a local antique store about a mile up the road from my apartment. What did I find? Brushes Picked up a small batch to work on reknotting(sp?). Also here's the info from the seller http://starsantique.com/dealer_item.php?pid=12792 Thanks for looking Michael
:mail: The Sea Buckthorn is here! My TSD store order came in a Thursday, and this is the first chance I've had to take a pic and post it. In the picture is the Sea Buckthorn 2 X Iced Wheat Cream and matching aftershave splash, a bottle of Angel type aftershave milk for Amy, and a puck of Iced Sweet Tea L/R soap. Oh yeah, almost forgot.... Some Aqua Velva Original Sport, the green stuff.
Happy Saturday From Florida! Great Hauls Ya'l! In the mail for us today: TSD Haul! Lavender Wheat Cream Iced Juniper Wheat Cream Yin-Yang Soap Sea Buckthorn Soap Sweet Iced Tea Limited Run Pumpkin Delight Limited Run Angel Type Milk Angel Type Cologne Aqua Velva Green Pre-Shave Balm Sample Sharp Stainless Blades As Always - Great Job JoAnna! Also received four vintage pucks of Williams. These pucks have no bar codes on the box and the puck is wrapped in paper. The puck has The JB Williams CO stamped in the puck. I do not know where these date to, but these have to be the oldest pucks I have ran across yet. I have had a puck from the Combe years and another puck of an unknown vintage but did have a bar code and no paper. I think I may have something extra special here as far as Williams goes?
Late, as usual with the pics of a few things I've picked up along the way. The Stahly ($15) and the 1967 Slim ($12) were found two weeks ago at an antique mall. The 1960 Fatboy ($2 - no, I haven't forgotten any digits :biggrin was picked up at a flea market last Saturday. As for the CDs - you gotta love a couple of the masters of the blues. Recent purchases. The Fatboy has one spot during the open/close twist that hangs a little but is easily overcome, and one door that doesn't fall all the way open, but with a little nudge on the door, no problems. It's seem some action. The Slim is in really good shape. And the Stahly looks immaculate. The vibrating feature works as it's supposed to, that is, it vibrates. I haven't used it yet. I plan on using it this Monday so look for my thoughts about how it shaves in the SOS thread. Edit to add the "Y" on Stahly. doh!
Not as much as Jeff got but I'm still excited about my first TSD Haul! Iced SubZero Wheat Cream M-Bomb Alum block
Camera is still down, but I got some stuff from the TSD store in the mail today. TSD Alum block Arko Shave Stick TSD Pumpkin Delight soap TSD Rootbeer soap sample TSD Bourbon Vanilla sample And she sent me a little sample of the TSD preshave balm! Edit- Just smelled the soaps, and had a strange urge to eat them! They smell delicious!

Nice haul with the boosters. I don't think you will be disappointed. I like all of the scents i have tried from a sampler I got and love the Jickey AS. So good. My haul is some tickets to see Michigan play next weekend. Hope for nice weather and a good game. Rented an RV with some of my friends and will be making the long drive Friday morning.
Had a great day for a newb At the localflee market got 3 razors at different stands for about $25 dollar in total 1) According ot Mr razor. A 1951 tech set 32 or a 1956 tech no5. not a tech no45!! Can anyone tell me the difference between those to. At least in a nice purple casing 2) A gillette sportsman tech, which I presume is a 1967. Its quite heavy. it has a l3 blade in it.Made in England 3) A gillette tech, which at first thought was an 1963 britsch tech. But i'm not so sure now since the heads doesn't match like on http://www.mr-razor.com/Rasierer/Tech/1963 Tech England.jpg But all in all a great day.
Finalllllllllly got a new camera.... Pentax Optio S1, retro mint green gotta love it. As you can see the pictures it takes are much better than the $60 Polaroid I've been using for 2 years now lol...
Picked another 47 Aristocrat up on eBay for $23. It arrived Friday, I just now got around to snapping a few pics. The only thing missing is the blade box. I'm planning on sending the razor and case to the Razor Emporium for REVAMP services. Now to find a blade box for this one and a case for last weeks Aristocrat.
