Mail from yesterday... My last box from Classy Man. More info on my CM Box thread. And a 1985 Shulton Old Spice ceramic razor/brush stand, with razor and brush. I don't think it's been used. And just because I'm almost more proud of this purchase than the shave gear.... It's hard to find these cans, let alone with so little rust/damage. This will go nicely with my AMSOIL 20w-50 Racing Oil can.
It's sounds as good as I was hoping. Actually it's pretty much the same way I would describe the Fine brush. Super soft with a lot more backbone than the Plisson.

My Schick Type I1 c/w case and blades arrived today. Ive cleaned it and loaded one of the Krona blades. Just have to fit it into the SE rotation.....maybe Sunday.
This pack of 20 NOS Schick blades were included with the Schick type I. These blades are solid and dont have the two oblong slots like all the other Schick blades I have. I was surprised at how small the injector is compared with the standard aluminum ones.
I have an older empty blade injector from the 50s. I think the size difference is the used blade bank. The older one is marked 20 bladed, the new one I have had 7.
Congratulations and that's a real nice one as well! I really like it in black. Do you know if the motor works? Not that it reallllyyyy matters because odds are you'd still only use the original handle once and then put that magical head on a handle of your choice. Curious to hear how you like the head - I find it to be most excellent.
I almost bought one on eBay, seeing as how there's a glut of them right now, driving the prices down into what I consider reasonable territory. I managed to resist following through with my initial BIN button push.
