I might be wrong, but I think this is the partly-metal T70. It might be the one you're referring to though and that it's just shined up plastic I personally rather like the look of it...
I have the various designs as: T70/Bonded Shaving System Design 1 – Grey. Design 2 – Black with metal strip along the body of the handle. Design 3 – In Black and White, similar to T70 Design 2. T70 Design 1 – T70 with red dot. Design 2 – T70 Black with flat head and metal strip along the body of the handle. Design 3 – T70 with metal pin on head. There could be more... I have all the Bonded listed above now, just need those three T70's...
Yeah it uses regular bonded cartridges that you can pick up easily on eBay. I bought a small lot for about $4/pack of 10.
Great haul! Your Old Spice mug is a Hull Potery either the 02 or 03. The Mug 02 was made from 1941-44 and has within a rope circle on the bottom the words "Old Spice," "Shaving Soap," and "USA." The Mug 03 from 1944 to the early 1950s, has "Old Spice" incised across the middle of the rope ring and "Made in USA" is in an outer ring. Outside of that they are identical and have "Ship Friendship" on the front. Just in case your interested the Mug 01 has the "Ship Grand Turk" on the front and was made from 1938-41. Your turning into another Old Spice junkie like me!
Yup, this is a 03. It's faint but I was able to make out a double circle on the bottom. There is some pretty good crazeing of the glaze but that's expected. This mug will go on the shelf and will not see any use other than a damp rag to wipe the dust off. I'm definitely loving the OS stuff.
Very nice! With that small paper strip and the instructions in excellent shape, I've seen them go for north of $250
