The Haul: September 2021

Bunch of stuff recently I've been sorting thru slowly. Bought an Ever Ready Case with Mirror that had a Damaskeene Gem and what I really saw and WANTED........Travel size Bone Handle Star Little Brudder for my Bone handle Star Brush and also a Canister for it. Glad I spotted this all for $25 Brush next to it's only 22mm Big brother which gives and idea to how small it is. Pic was after test lather and while it still wet. A test lather with it after soaking the boar yielded great results with minimal shedding that I hope disappears as I think it will as used.

Thanks Mike, I have regrets I didn't get both Star brushes when I got my first one. The other was a little more and now I know it would have been worth it......Live and learn

Just received the TARMAX DE adjustable in the mail today, took it apart and was amazed at the detail in this razor and the case is perfect fit for this rare unique razor.
Going to give it a try out tomorrow to see how it performs. Like to thank @twhite Tom , @Jayaruh Jim & @IAmTheJody , Jody and the The Shave Den for letting us have this interesting fund raising rally.

Wednesday mail call is from Maggard Razors; today I got Saponificio Varesino’s Tundra Artica shave soap and aftershave.

 

Received a generous PIF from @Kevinwine85 today. Doing SE Safety razors for all of September so hope to try in October. If it doesn't agree with me it will be re-Pif'd Thanks Kevin !

I bought 100 because I liked the name and I think I’ve got 98 left.

 

Yikes! Hopefully they fare better for me than they did for you, but there were only a $3.99 gamble so I figured what the heck. I may have also been slightly intimidated to buy them by the intense stare down of the Indian "Chuck Norris" like dude on the packaging.

 

Nice haul! Looks like some great items! Bet your mailman is tired!

 

That and “cryotech” whatever that is.

I also got the shave cream. I guess I thought it would be fun to have my name on display all over the medicine cabinet.
