And now you can as the metal version of it is out selling for $58 incl shipping I never made the connection between the two until now.
I have a feeling that the original plastic razor and its optional, "pre loaded" disposable razor blade heads may have helped kill that project... The new metallic version is a lot nicer, but as the website for option 5 is a real corker with my system, ill have to really wait long and think hard if id actually buy it.
I was kind of worried at first that the button to pop off the cap was actually a power button but I'm glad that I was wrong. I agree that the disposable heads didn't make much sense but otherwise it seems okay. I don't think that changing blades is normally that difficult or tedious but it's still good to see someone trying to bring something new to the table, although I think that the Merkur Futur also has a cap that pops on and off. Somehow, the razor looks like it would be pretty comfortable.
