Nice razors too. I don't know which I would be more excited about. The stubtail or the toggle. Are you going to have those two refurbished?

 

I'm actually most excited about the Cooper Monobilt. It's harder to find in my experience and allegedly a great shaver. The Toggle is in great shape and functions perfectly. I'm not worried about a little gold wear and will probably leave it alone. The stub tail is definitely going to get restored and used. I just need to figure out how to get it restored.

 

I've looked at your haul 10 times and as I sit here slack jawed, all I can say is WOW! You know how I am about toggles, I think I would have had a heart attack when I opened that box. congratulations.

If it were me, I'd get the Toggle replated.
Toggles are rare, but the Irish-made Millikin is really unique; probably 1803-1805—I guarantee there are probably NOT too many of those floating about and in salvageable condition. Those scales look to be in very good shape (IF they are original); and the maker's mark is intact (and legible)—which is a real plus.

 

The more I look at the Millikin and the more I hear about it, I'm starting to believe it was a very nice find. I love the way it looks and really want to shave with it. Thank you for the info. This is one piece I will hold onto.
