cool! I wish they sold the handles separately. I'd buy one for use with the Gillette NEW head I've got.

Hey, I kinda like it, myself.

If the head looked as cartoony as the the handle, it would be perfect.

I like cartoony looking things. And modern design. If the head were more matched with the handle, I could see a design like this being in a modern design museum, like the MOMA.

I guess success of this razor will come down to how well it handles and shaves. $40 doesn't seem cheap; somewhat more than my spending ceiling for a new razor.

Maybe you could split the purchase with someone that just wants the head piece.;)

If it were in white, it could be a fashion accessory for the Pilsbury Doughboy.

I LIKE the way it looks! I put a stack of about ten rubber o-ring (#7, if I recall correctly) on my Progress handle and it dramatically improved the handling. The color is a little off-putting. I'd like a silver or white. But the surface texture and contours make it grippy, the wide handle make it easy to handle. I imagine the size, gives it a nice weight too, even though its aluminum, unless its hollow.

It seems you guys are judging without trying it or considering the possible positive aspects. "Don't cover a judge by his book." "Don't book a judge by his cover." (ref. "Get Fuzzy"). It's on MY list, along with a bunch of other razors, just waiting to win the lottery!

It's solid all the way through, not hollow at all, and it is heafty.
