I did think of that, but couldn't find anything ready made that would work. I might look into it more though.
That is a beautiful work of art. A friend once told me that enjoying elicit green substances leads to carpentry and he was right. He was always making new things. Now I know that any thing you enjoy this much causes everyone to turn to carpentry. Congrats.
It's here! Got the brush today. Can't wait to try it out! Here's pics of the brush and the stand. Haven't decided if I'm finished with the stand. I'll take more pics later for size comparison next to a C&E BBB and a Kent BLK4, and a pic of the brush in my hand.
Your going to use it. I know its like buying a Ferrari without an engine, but in this case I think I'd be happy to just look.
+1 to that! I always played with my toys. One thing I might do is to buy a can of plasti-dip and dip the part of the stand that holds the brush. I made a stand out of a coat hanger that mounts to the side of my medicine cabinet, and the sharp corner started to scratch the epoxy. The plasti-dip protects it and looks nice. Looks great!
JoAnna, please let us know how the brush knot compares with the BLK4. When I look at the pics of those two side by side, it appears that the Queen's knot is more dense and less, umm, flexible than the Kent. True or False?
