Good Morning all !!! I just wanted to post a couple of photos of one of my recent purchases. It is a 1909 ABC set that was so badly tarnished it looked like the case was a gunmetal coated case. So, I spent about an hour on it shining it up last night. Here's some photos. And here are the after photos There it is. Enjoy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hello, I relined the tray on the bottom half of the case. I used some brown felt I got at Hancock Fabric store.
I picked up a Big Fellow that was hiding in a lot. It was pretty black. With a little scrubbing, it's ready to go
I finished this up a couple of days ago. It ain't perty but she's mine . The case I got in a lot with a few razors. It was gutted and most of the finish was worn off. I initially spray painted it flat black but the paint started to crack. So I stripped it and sanded it down a little. It's no where near a professional upholstery but I didnt put a whole of effort into either. It's just basic red felt and I made the base out of some scrap wood . I didn't take into account the thickness of the felt. Oh well. It's better than it was.
