Butter Rum Strawberries - to be served atop Vanilla Ice Cream 3 tablespoons butter 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup Dark Spiced Rum (ie Captain Morgan) 3 cups Strawberries Vanilla Ice Cream Melt the butter in a saute pan and add brown sugar, stir to combine. Then add the strawberries and Rum. Ignite rum if neccesary to cook off alcohol. Be careful! Stir and cook about four minutes or until strawberries are soft. Then pour atop Vanilla Ice Cream. Serves 4 This dessert is truly fantastic! It's incredibly simple and takes only a few minutes. Great for dinner parties, provides entertainment and saves time. I really hope you guys try this one. It only takes a minute and is well worth it!
