The Simpson Thread

I wonder how long it will take before they make an appearance in the SOS threads.
Once they become available from one of the Canadian distributors I will surely give them a try.

I think Simpson is really missing an opportunity by not naming their new boar brush "The Piggie."

 

Guys,
what is the quality scale for Simpson? Is Super better than Manchurian or Vice Versa?

 

I think it is subjective based on preferences?

 

Well, I meant for the manufacturer, I see different prices.

 

Fantastic brush.

 

I have a couple of chubby 1 different Badger, they are very good, just curious to understand the quality as I see great difference in prices.

 

In order of quality:
Pure Badger
Best Badger
Silvertip (Super) Badger
Manchurian Badger

Wee Scot

I’m really taking a liking to Badgers and I’ve got my eye on a Duke 3.

Thank you for suggesting the X3 Commodore as a first Badger brush!
Last month I purchased the Wee Scot as a travel brush. No problem using it for head and face shaves. It’s wee but punches way above it’s weight.
