1. Amazing collection. Seems like all have the sticker intact as well! Are those stickers all made in England, or some with the made in Great Britain as well? I think we should have a thread of Simpson stickers as well :)

  2. thank you!

The Berkeley and Chubby both say Made in Great Britain while the Wee Scot is Made in England.

  3. Nice. I heard there was a dispute a few years back that where the brushes are being produced now (Isle of Man) is not England, and they changed the sticker to United Kingdom. I think all mine are made in England.

  4. Yes. True. I have sometimes wondered why the Wee Scot still says "Made in England". Surely it is still the same issue? The only Wee Scot that doesn't indicate a place of making is the Carter-era version, but that was back then, not now.

Maybe the best brush I've ever used.

  7. I’ve got 2 Simpsons brushes, a 24mm 57 best and the wee scott that my caliper rells me is 14.5mm, in a stand that took me a week to find! F59BF2F9-80CA-4093-8DCD-8862ACE2E59E.jpeg 3A8811B9-53AF-4B33-A641-1EB92B689FD4.jpeg

  8. I enjoy my vintage #57

About 7 - 8 years ago I started exclusively purchasing vintage butterscotch brushes, So I have an embarrassing number of Simpson, Vulfix, Kent, Culmack, and Rooney.
