I doubt it. The dog was hanging around in the backyard with us for quite awhile. After all, he knew he was going to have a nice supper and he's also crazy about my daughter and my nephew. When this guy barks, the whole neighborhood can hear him - that's how loud he is. The first time the mailman saw him he was nearly traumatized - just the size of this dog and the fact that he looks at strangers with his ears up and no tail waving is enough to do it. My neighbor behind us saw him roaming around in our backyard Sunday morning, and he said to me from his balcony "Holy crap, are you sure you have a German Shepherd and not a timber wolf?" It's a good thing we have a big steel fence because I wouldn't want to see this guy get loose. That almost happened this past winter when he smashed down the wooden fence we had, because he was trying to get at a loose mutt walking past our place. OMG, it takes sheer brute strength to restrain him. He goes into such a bloody rage if he sees another male dog. My wife was freaking out that day.
ordered a few: weekend in malibu, coconut lime, G&T OTR's , and witchy women for the bride.... Im telling you gents, get your wife using these soaps and its the gift that keeps giving.
In the act of restraining him, does he attack you guys, or is it just the idea of trying to prevent him from attacking his "opponent"?
So, I tried my sample of Iced Pineapple last night. I really enjoyed the scent and the not so light, but not glacial kick of menthol, but! But, I think I may have had a slight reaction to the soap I got mild burning sensation in my mustache area that I did not get with Eskimo Tuxedo. I'll try shaving with it again just to make sure. No. But it's extremely difficult to handle him unless you have a lot of experience with this kind of dog. His physical strength is off the charts.
Just picked up my Glacial Black Cherry soap and does it ever smell lovely. Even better than I was expecting. Along with that was my Glacial MITA soap along with a sample of the North Padre bath soap. Me is a very happy camper!
Now that I think about it, I didn't get one of the free samples that Rod usually throws in. Oh well, I have plenty of samples to work through anyways Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
I'm so curious about the black cherry, but some say it smells like kool-aid, which I'm not to sure I'd like, but I was pleasantly surprised by the scent of iced pineapple Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
The black cherry scent comes through big-time and does the menthol ever jump on you - this stuff can clear a blocked nose really fast!
Not cool aid smelling at all. I like it a lot. The nice thing is you only risk $3 on a Stirling sample puck.
Hey Paul, was the review on our site? If so, please let me know. I try to read every review before they go live on the website, but it's possible I missed one. Cursing is one of the things I try to look for before reviews go up.
Once again let me reiterate that when Rod creates a treasure, he creates a TREASURE! I was expecting a cough syrup type of scent from the Glacial Black Cherry soap. In all honesty I'm not a black cherry, white cherry, red cherry......any kind of cherry fan, but does this one ever smell great. My wife sniffed it and said "OMG, mon amour - the whole house is going to smell from this soap tomorrow!" I told her "Good!"
It is indeed on the sight, Rod. It'll take me some time to locate it again, to show you where it is-that's how shocked I was, made me forget the product being reviewed. One clue I do recall is it was in the customer's opening sentence.
I opened my Glacial Lemon Chill bath bar today. After working outside with the heat index over 100°, and near 100% humidity, I used it in a cool shower and had goosebumps when I stepped out... Yeah, it's THAT good!
