Using Lemon Chill to break in my new Stirling boar brush...not sure it will be ready for use tomorrow. Like most boars, She shed while loading it up for the first time

My Plissoft synthetic whipped up such incredible lather from an Electric Sheep sample which is fading away to nothing. I had a sensational three pass shave this morning, and I think I could get one more use from the sample. This soap's skincare is so brilliant that although I used a moisturizer because I'm a creature of habit, I really didn't need to. Apparently, mutton tallow is known to do beautiful things to sensitive skin. I'm strongly considering to get a Scots Pine Sheep.

well, shux...I could have received the Glacial Wintergreen soap today, but I had to SIGN for it, and wasn't here. I'll pick it up Monday at the P.O.

Make sure you're at the post office when it opens so you could be first in line!

Yes, and then I'll crank up the AC going home to keep it ice-cold :).

Finally used Gin and Tonic on the Rocks! This soap is fantastic! Decent amount of menthol, and the scent really sets the pace for a hot day. Fresh, light and citrusy

I love that soap too - as soon as you sniff it you know you're in for a great shave. I find the menthol at the same level as the regular MITA. Not to the point where it can make your eyes tear but it's still pretty cold. Great stuff!

My wife finally admitted that she likes the SDM scent. I used the Eskimo Tuxedo this morning and when she kissed me after I finished shaving she told me "Oh, you smell so nice babe!" I'm still convinced Rod did something to ramp up the menthol effect because this soap feels colder than Cryogen!

On my larger Shepherd I use a clinch collar. She seldom pulls on it anymore, just wearing it is the reminder, but if she decides to go after something, neither my wife or daughter can stop her. The dog weighs as much as my daughter and nearly as much as my wife. She is young though and getting better as she gets older.

We used to use the same collar on our older Shepherd who is much smaller 85 ish pounds, but he is so well behaved and mellow by now we really don't anymore. Once in a while my wife might if they are going somewhere where we are likely to encounter other dogs, or be in a high stress type thing. (Go to the vet.) He is very mellow and gets along well with pretty much everything, but like any Shepherd, isn't gonna put up with much from other dogs. Just helps keep him more controllable.

I know there is a lot of debate over whether these type collars are cruel to the dogs or not, but I can tell you that unless your dog is a complete moron, they aren't, because the dogs simply don't fight them. When used initially with patience and a little care, they are simply a safety measure, and my dogs never seem to mind in the least when we put them on. In fact, when we open the cabinet where we keep them, the dogs flip out because they are so excited to go somewhere. All I know is that if my 120 pound daughter is walking her 120 pound dog, I would think the general public would be happy that we are making sure we have control of it.

Plus, I have pretty good peace of mind that nobody is gonna mess with my daughter when she's out with either one of them. The giant spiky collar just adds to the look.

Just ordered one of the boars. How can you go wrong? Plus it can sit in line with my other Stirling brushes. I am re-visiting a few after-shaves I have tried in the past and didn't like enough to buy more, for one reason or another. It's hard to have a cloudy, dreary day and not order something from there.

I'm having the same dilemma, but I'm on a spending freeze due to my car dying and having to get something else...

I agree with you on the spike collar. I weigh 250 lbs and the dog weighs 130 and when he goes into his act without it I have to yank and haul on him with just about all my strength (I'm also extremely strong) to keep him under control and once he got me so furious when he saw another dog that I walloped him on his butt. He wasn't wearing the spike collar then. Corinne, my wife weighs 125 and forget it - if he would decide to take off he'd carry her away with him. With the spike collar he's MUCH more manageable but my daughter is not allowed to walk him unless I go with her. Otherwise, he's a perfect-mannered dog around the house, in the car, anywhere. The only thing with him in the house is that he's an alpha male and very territorial. As far as he's concerned our daughter belongs to him and every now and then he'll try to push Corinne or myself away from her. The two of them are inseparable. As I say this, the two of them are cuddling on the couch! lolll

Our male doesn't like to listen to my daughter, but he does. She has to get all "hard-ass toned" with him, but he does. He gets this irritated look, and then slinks around with his ears down. They are insperable too though.

Ahhhhhhhh, they look so cute together!

That's like our daughter and dog. She lies down beside him, his tail waves, and he licks her face non-stop. Then he rolls on his back and starts to hum at her to rub his belly! Lollllllllll

Rod really created a magnificent soap. The Glacial Black Cherry has such a lovely scent and I'm flabbergasted at how easy it lathers. The menthol power is off the charts, like all the other Glacials and its skincare is typical Stirling perfection. I had such a fun-filled shave with it today!
