I use bar soap in the shower. I wash my face lightly with soap but don't consider that a pre-shave element. I was strictly speaking that I've never tried an overt pre-shave product like oils or pre-shave soap. Never saw the need.
Ohhhh, I almost forgot - it takes me just 5 minutes just to wash my face before a shave and another 10 minutes for the rest of my prep. (on a rushed shave) lolllll With a Glacial soap I'm looking at 45 minutes!
This is me doing a Glacial video: "Hi fellas, how are you, good. Here we go with Glacial Wintergreen. First, I dress my face with the soap. Y'know, the other day I was down at the....YEEEEOWWWWOOHHHHMAAANN!"
Two things I wanted to say - tomorrow it's the Glacial Obsidian soap and balm and the other is my order shipped today!
Has anyone used Stoylin's Sandalwood? I'll be running out of my current Sandalwood aftershave(different company)long before the shave soap(different company)and thought I'd try the Stoylin brand. Comments on it, please? Thanks.
I try to. In fact, I'm buying up the last of the Glacial Black Cherry soaps. There's one left and it's gonna be MINE, all MINE!
Do you remember the balsa wood airplanes you used to get in the little paper sleeve at the grocery store, or Ben Franklin? The ones you pieced together and wound up with a twisty rubber band? Like that. Did you take wood shop? Worked in one? Sanded wood. Scent lasts forever. I know you look for "manly" stuff. This one is unmistakeable.
The Glacial Obsidian soap and balm worked their powerful menthol magic beautifully for me. I can still feel the tingling!
