Last night at 10:30 I got a call from my sister-in-law telling me that she and my brother-in-law were leaving for New York City for a vacation so "Sweetie, could you give us a lift to the airport?" Hell, they never told my wife or myself anything about that all of last week so me being the proverbial sucker, woops, I mean nice guy I went and picked them up and took them there. This meant no time for a Glacial Lemon Chill shave. Instead, I grabbed the first soap in front of me and used that. Glacial Lemon Chill tomorrow, this I promise!

So I have been very conservative about buying soaps for probably the last year and a half. I've bought maybe six or seven. Pretty much all Stirling, except for one Soap Commander, and a jar of I Coloniali.

After subtracting all the container weights for my twenty-odd full size Stirling soaps, I only have 1444 grams left. At a gram and a half a day average, that leaves me with about 962 shaves worth, or maybe two and a half years.

It has been a while since I measured, but I am carrying a lot less inventory than I was a couple of years ago. I also got rid of a lot of different artisan soap that was basically taking up space. That left me with just a handful of makers, and Stirling being the overwhelming winner.

The am probably not so quick to gobble up every new scent that hits the shelf anymore, but Stirling is still easily 90% of my shaves, and I see no reason that would change.

That said, I still have three cases of Arko in my bunker for the end of the world.

You should get them to go by Pasteur's Pharmacy and pick up a few things for you! Hehe. :D

Well, one of the B/S/T threads struck again. I have found lots of great soaps at terrific prices on those boards and couldn't pass this set up. Looks almost new. I guess my CT allows me to buy lots of used shaving soap!

This set will be coming up soon as I go into Stirling SEptember.

@ezlovan... saw that mantic interview and you got me pretty fired up! the thought of stirling deodorant is something that im very excited for...that to me is a untapped/unchallenged market that is similar to the cart razor world...I have high hopes that you guys can shake that market up and take deodorant to a brand new level....was also great to hear some of you back story...we will do our part, as you guys continue to do yours...i have been on a run of "converting" friends/family and your soaps/website is where I point them all to.

if anyone hasnt watch it, I would highly recommend it.

Lemony-scented icicles in my face this morning thanks to the Glacial Lemon Chill soap and witch hazel. My Plissoft synthetic whipped up a crazy amount of lather!
