No menthol for tomorrow but that doesn't mean no Stirling. It's been a while since I've used the Barbershop soap so that's what I'll go with.

I am really stoked for the Scots Pine AS to come out. I love these sheep soaps so much. There are honestly days when I think I could just do matched sets of the sheep stuff and be done forever.

This was my first try with the combo of Glacial Wintergreen soap and Lime A.S. Kinda put me in a meat locker. Sinuses cleared. It is for these reasons that I dedicate this shave(this morning)to @Yehuda D . Ya happy now, Jeff??:Animatedfrozensmily:

I can't begin to mention how much I enjoyed this wonderful Barbershop soap. Its scent is so damned old-school that you'd think you were in a 1950's or 60's barbershop. The lather exploded from my brush and buried my face while the scent filled my bathroom. I shaved slowly so I could savour each moment. Three passes were enough to give me a perfect BBS shave. I also meant to say that this soap has typically brilliant Stirling skincare, so when you're done shaving, rinsing, and wiping your face feels like you just came from a spa!

I still have plenty of that left as part of my fall/winter arsenal. To me, it works wonders when combined with Clubman Original A.S.

My hands finally stopped shaking and I'm feeling much calmer - exactly one week ago I placed an order for:

2x Glacial Lemon Chill Bath Soaps
    2x Menthol Pre-Shave Soaps
1x Glacial Lemon Chill AS Balm

Guess what - it just arrived about a half hour ago along with:

1x Scots Pine Sheep Bath Soap sample

Rod and Mandy are two saints!

Tomorrow kicks off a month of all Stirling all month. I'm just gonna run through the list alphabetically, so tomorrow kicks us off with Almond Cream soap and splash.

Jared, it'll be quite chilly here tomorrow so what's a good way for me to kick off September? Frozen Tundra followed by the Glacial Lemon Chill balm and witch hazel! ;)

Might have to get a couple of sample pucks on my next order. I like to order two pucks and put them into a tin. Not as much commitment as a tub if I don't like it too much, but plenty to run on for a while.

Rather than commit to a tub the wife ordered 8 or 9 samples, a few for each of us.... as a result now I want to commit to a bunch of tubs!!!

Part of it for me is purely the amount of soap. Six ounces of soap is a ton. If I buy two samples, that's 40-ish shaves. You cycle that into a rotation of 35-40 soaps, it's years worth.

Generally speaking, I wish soaps were smaller. It just seems like the last couple years that everyone Supersized them into 6oz behemoths. I was/am perfectly happy with a 4 oz puck, I just li,e the wider surface to load from.
