Gentleman is one of those aftershaves I find myself using behind a lot of different soaps. It is getting used up WAY faster than the soap. My wife really likes it, so that’s a plus. There is definitely going to be a replacement of this one.
I agree 100% on the scent of their Sandalwood. I love Sandalwood almost as much as I love menthol, but, unfortunately Stirling Sandalwood hates me Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
I'm thinking of giving Gentleman another try. The scent description is one that I would seem to really enjoy. Perhaps I didn't give it a fair trial.
The aftershave really needs a few minutes to dry down. It can have an almost harsh smell in, or right out of the bottle. I can walk out of the bathroom wearing it, and my wife will gripe that I am wearing gasoline. A half hour later, or if I had put it on earlier, she is purring about it like Eartha Kitt.
I filled up some shave sticks out of tubs with some of my fall favorites for hitting the road. When a guy is at a hotel more nights than at his own house, it is kind of nice to have the variety. Today I filled: Hot Apple Cider, Gentleman, Ozark and Sandalwood. I have a few more empty tubes left, but I haven’t decided which scents I want to put in them.
It sure did! And I was so bummed to. It was the synthetic sandalwood. Caties Bubbles LPV did it to, which also uses synthetic sandalwood Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
I tried a sample of Pumkin Spice from the passaround box today and was very pleasantly surprised! Now I have yet another to decide sample puck or full puck! Either way I loved the scent. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
You're telling me, haha! The plus side is that I only wasted a couple bucks on samples and not while jars. Always a bright side my friend Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
Yeah, you're right. I've been lucky with Proraso and Captain's Choice though Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
My favorite is Sandalwood AS is WSP, but I've never had a reaction to any fragrance oils. Lee doesn't have any other fragrances in there, it is really just sandalwood. It might be worth a try.
I never thought I'd use Glacial Wintergreen soap in October but it will hit 78 tomorrow(then apparently some chillier weather ahead). One more crack with the Wintergreen.
Honestly, I was wondering if I could do three passes with the Glacial Obsidian soap this morning because the menthol was ungodly cold. (of course, I enjoyed every second of the shave!) The matching balm felt frigid as well, not to mention the beautiful moisturizing and soothing effect it gave me. My wife said "Sweetie, if not for the scent it would be great because I have to admit that soap and balm make your skin look fantastic!" I don't know what it is, but she detests the anise scent of both this soap and the Black Ice!
Finally another Stirling SOTD . This time it's the Glastonbury. Fantastic scent! Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
Well, I see that I have one MORE shave with the Gatlinburg A.S.(sampler). One of these days, I'll get going with the Xecutive Man. The Gatlinburg scent shows up a little more today, having used the Glacial Wintergreen soap.
I wish I could have done a third pass with the Glacial Black Cherry soap because I enjoyed the scent, lather, and freeze so much. Two small weepers during the second pass spoiled the fun a little.
