Lol, I had my wife take a sniff of the soap last night....she wasn't as impressed as I was and I just gave her one of those "are nuts!" looks, lol! At long last, I sent my sample A.S. review into Doc&Nurse(Amanda)Ezlovan. . Interestingly, I tossed out the Xecutive Man after this morning's use, because I wanted to use a lot to get a solid feel of the scent and feel(how's that for repetitive redundancy, 2 "feels" in the same sentence?). Anyway, now on to others.
I had to laugh-one of the reviewers for sample aftershaves said his order included "2 Sharp Dressed Men".
My wife smelled it and then turned away, and sneezed five times. The menthol really got to her! Lolllllllllllllll She loves the SDM!

My wife says that menthol is so "unnecessary" in shaving stuff. The only aftershaves she likes on me are the ones she herself bought me, yet they're also mentholated. She smelled the Gin & Tonic on the Rocks soap (she bought it for me) and she thinks its scent is great. The Glacial soaps for her have good scents, but the powerful menthol fumes shake her up mega-time. My brother-in-law (her older brother) simply cannot handle a Glacial freeze. He tried my Obsidian once and he couldn't even finish his first pass. You know what I did? I told him I was going to kick his butt if he didn't man up and complete his shave. I said to him "Don't you DARE waste that precious lather!" lolllllllll
Well, I learned something from the Xecutive Man sampler....it may be just me, but it appears that Xecutive Man may be best used in colder months.
It just felt a little too warm on my face, as we in metro Boston continue with unseasonably warm temperatures . Classic fragrance, no problem there, just perhaps more comfortable for me during the colder weather.
I put EM and SDM in my fall line-up as well. I'm in the process of restocking fall scents and rotated those 2 into the line-up today. Although, I've not paid any attention to the warmth, I will. Or maybe I did pay attention, subconsciously. Hmmm. Thanks for your .02
Well, this may be true indeed, Jeff...in fact, I actually brought my TSD Russian Leather A.S.(still have a fair amount left, as with my Stoylin Sandpiper)up to the main area of my shave den . Others may soon follow.
Well, as many here know, I do pay attention to weather, when it comes to which shave gear is best. I learned this lesson a few summers ago, when I tried Clubman A.S. once and ended up sweating bullets!!
