No worries Jared. I've been working a trade that started with hardware, but before any packages get mailed I like to talk software and consumables. I elected to skip the licorice scented. I wouldn't use them so no point in boxing them up, but I'll be trying several other Stirling scents soon. A question to everyone; Considering the length of time it takes to use up a big ole tub of long lasting Stirling soap should I order two bottles of aftershaves to go with it? Maybe 2 tubs of soap to 3 AS? Or is it more like a 3 to 5 ratio? I'd hate to really like a soap scent and run out AS in an off season. I don't currently own any matching soap and AS.
Some of Rod’s scents are serious powerhouses, and Glastonbury is one of them. I think even if you use it with other soaps, you will have plenty. It is a “little goes a long way”splash. Some, like the citrus scents, I use more, use with all kinds of soaps in the summer, and can run a bottle out faster than the soap. If you have a big rotation, I doubt you will use up both of either. You it every day? Order two. Port au Prince is one of my wife’s favorites so I wear it a lot when I am home. I am currently sort of rationing the AS til spring. I will order two bottles of it when it comes back out. And another tub of soap, and a case of bath bars. It has become my all time favorite too.

Thanks to the Glacial Lemon Chill trio I had one hell of a grand freeze and a great shave. The mentholated pre-shave soap is fabulous as well. Not a strong cooling effect, but still nice!
I must say, the Stoylin "li'l brudder" loaded more of the Rte 66 Cavvy than I thought it might. It appears Kathleen's soap isn't quite ready to be tossed out just yet. But I've been happy with my two Stoylin brushes.
How is British Leather? The description says it's based on English Leather, which I know has been around forever, but I'm certain I've never smelled it. It's the last aftershave that is on sale that I may be interested in.
Today I used Red Eye! I saw it on sale and often use Polo Red so I figured, why not give it a try. This stuff is nearly a dead ringer for the scent and smells great. Of course it also performed like a top shelf soap would. I am a citrus nut and just love the blood grapefruit, cranberry and lemon. It was listed as having top notes of blood grapefruit, cranberry, lemon and saffron; middle notes are ginger, coffee, sage and lavender; base notes are amber, red cedar and leather. It smelled great. My 10yr old daughter also loved the scent and 'shaved' with it as well. I was saying to the wife that I am glad I got the refill puck in this but am a bit worried, being on sale, that it might not make it to regular production and will no longer be made. She suggested grabbing another puck, like getting another soap to join the other 80+ would really make a difference in the grand scheme of things. Of course, when I went to grab another I saw they are gone. Does anyone know if Red Eye, Stirling Green, Stirling One or City Slickers will be returning? Rod and Mandy, thanks for Red Eye. It was a great way to start the day and tie in to a fragrance that I just started wearing this past summer. Frank
I have a tub of the soap and the AS, and I like them. I wouldn't call them my favorites, and I have to be a bit careful wearing the AS, as it can overwhelm SWMBO, but the scent is pleasant enough. I honestly haven't smelled English Leather in many years, but this does smell like my very vague memories of it.

I received that batch of stuff from James @LOOT. He's set me up with Stirling for days! Samples of shave soap in Autumn Glory, Gatlinburg, Piacenza, & Gentleman. Then he added bath soap samples in Lime, Glacial Lemon Chill, and Noir. Assuming the scent holds true from shave or bath soap to AS splash I'll know if I want to get the full puck and a bottle of Good Stink.
