  6. 205 reviews for the Barbershop soap....nice to see another one get past 200.
  7. Nice shot Mark. I'm still puzzled by the mystery background. Basket part? Antenna? Fan Cover?
  8. Went with the glacial lemon chill and matching ASB this morning.
  9. Iced Pineapple with matching A/S splash for me.
  10. OK everyone, this is kind of weird but yesterday I was left with only about a 1/2 inch ring of B&M Seville left in the bottom of the container. I decided (for what ever reason - I don't know) to scoop out the remaining soap and moosh it into my remaining Stirling Baker Street . Look, I realize that it didn't make a lot of sense but I did what I did. Anyway, I decided to work up a lather with the concoction for a shave. The resulting lather was amazing. Never experienced such a rich, thick, luxurious lather in my life! Much better than either soap on it's own. And it lathered fast!. Can anyone out there give a rational explanation of this? Weird Science?
  11. I have a Frankensoap tub, that has every remnant of soaps and samples that have become too small to lather anymore (or too annoying). It has soap from, I bet, fifteen different makers. It’s a mish mash of scents that absolutely should not work together, from Mickey Lee’s Drunken Goat to B & M’s Cologne Russe, but, by God, it actually smells good, and lathers like a champ.

I think I have stumbled into a form of alchemy, and I am expecting that the next time I open the tub, I will find it morphing into a precious metal.

  12. You’ve created the soap equivalent of Brangelina. You know, before the divorce and custody battle.

  16. Today’s shave was a SLOC loaded with an Astra, and MITA applied with the Lil’ Brudder.

The SLOC didn’t deliver the smooth happiness I get from other razors, but I’m on a mission to empty the ten in rotation and the SLOC is #9. In spite of some blade chatter, the soap was as awesome as always and protected my mug. The smell is fantastic and the chill was at just the right level for my mood.

I finished the ride with a healthy splash of MITA witch hazel and Aloe. The chill came on as a burn first, and I loved it.

As long as Stirling makes MITA, it’ll be one of my primary summer soaps.
  17. I'll be Sandpipering off to work with Stirling Sandpiper SS & AS

  18. I Pulled out the scots pine sheep today. It's been a while. Chased it with Krampert's frostbite aftershave.
  19. I showered just before with the Glacial Spearmint bath soap. The freeze from it lasts a good while.
