August 13th Razor: Timeless .95 SC Blade: Shark Super Stainless Brush: SOC mixed Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated Soap: Stirling Lemony Orange Stirling Lemon Chill witch hazel AS: Stirling Lemony Orange Stirling face freeze for menthol Monday! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
I enjoyed the Glacial Lemon Chill trio so much yesterday. Tomorrow it'll be Gin+Tonic on the Rocks. Not an overwhelming freeze but still colder than cold enough!
The other day i used. Glacial lemon chill soap Lemon chill witch hazel Glacial lemon chill aftershave splash Glacial lemon chill balm You wanna talk about cold. Wow i love that stuff.
I've used the Iced version so much that I barely notice the menthol anymore. I'm starting to think that I could handle glacial. I'll have to try one for next summer (I wasn't supposed to buy new soaps in 2017 but I cheated with Iced Pineapple and several Stirling samples all because of this thread)
Flippin that around somewhat, I presented my nephew with Mennen Skin Bracer for his 18th birthday-welcoming him into manhood . All right, back to Stoylin
Paul, I've always like "Stoylin" but the posts in this thread on the menthol versions did prompt me to buy Iced Pineapple and in my weakened state also help cause me to buy a few more "Stoylin" samples after I swore to myself at the beginning of the year that I would buy no new soap in 2018
The same thing happened to me. I used orange chill, iced pineapple, and mita so much i didn't notice the menthol anymore. I was scared of the glacials to be honest but now that ive switched im hooked. I promise you can handle them.
This thread is dangerous to my wallet but tons of fun. The excuse I use to myself is that it keeps me learning new stuff
Right, same here. In fact, I just learned a while ago that Doc Ezlovan might bring in some more cologne dupes(Creeds). I do want to emphasize " might" so as not to make us wait anxiously for them, but those would be nice to see.
Next month is SEptember on the 30 Day Focus thread, with an emphases on single edge razors (thus the SEptember designation). Others around TSD join in as well. I'll be making it a Stirling SEptember for the second year in a row and use Stirling products all month. I have plenty of soaps to rotate through and most of them are sets with matching splashes. Going to be a great month!
) That will be a good month for me too, to get some Stoylins going. Maybe use only my 2 Stoylin brushes for soaps(sorry @Jayaruh).
I believe that I will join you fellas. Including samples, I have over 30 Stirling soaps. My other favorites can take a break for a bit. At least with Stirling we know that we're in for a month of great shaves.
