One choice left-but I must admit, I was pleased with coming up with these two. (Not that I'm bragging, but...well....I'm bragging ))
Why not brag these were both great choices. I really like both. Sandpiper is at the top of my list of soaps to buy when I start buying again. And, I have a bottle and a quarter of the Unscented aftershave. I use the Unscented aftershave for the skin food when I wear a cologne or EDT or when I don't want to stink at all.
I froze myself to smithereens with the Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap, the Glacial Unscented balm, and the Arctique did an extreme number on my face. BBS with rapture and joy!
By the time I make choice #4, I should be close to the end of my Barbershop soap, although I think it was @john zeiger who told me there are still a lot of shave left once you think it's time to toss it out(said that in so many words, that is).
It seems true to me. I am working on a soap now and trying to kill the sucker. Its down to the just the soap around the edges. I keep overloading to try to kill it but it just keeps going. I'm ready to move on but the soap just won't die.
Wonderful choice Paul. I really enjoyed Sandpiper but my beautiful wife didn't appreciate it. Oh well, she loves most of Stirling's offerings.
My wife likes Sandpiper and Mountain Man. ALL my other soaps are strictly for ME. And I’m fine with that.
It's like a tube of toothpaste, but the difference is, you can't see exactly how much toothpaste is left.
My wife says that Sandpiper has an oily "old man" hint to it that she doesn't like. Lol I just tell her that her sniffer is broken. I really liked it, but she disliked it enough for me to give it away.
If I choose #3(and we all know that is a big IF), I'll have a full set of Sandpiper soap AND A.S. (the latter was PIFed earliere this year), and the Unscented aftershave will help with some of the other PIFed soaps I have that I'm have trouble matching to current aftershaves. Come to think of it, I kinda like that logic. But as Yogi Berra said "It ain't over til it's over".
No Sir, she didn't know. Judging from her reaction the two times that I wore the as though, she didn't really seem to care. She loves Mountain Man, Dunshire, Island Man, and many others though.
How is she on vintage classics(Aqua Velva, Mennen, Stoylin Spice-which in my opinion comes close to the Shulton version)?

I've never used Aqua Velva before. She didn't seem to mind the Stirling Spice bath soap that I tried. (I know that you don't use them Paul, but I love the bath soaps.)
Thumbs up for the bath and shampoo soaps! Of my classic drugstore AS collection, my wife like Aqua Velva the best. But I don’t have the original Shulton Old Spice in my collection anymore. I would have hoarded the hell out of it had I known.
Today was special. It was the last day before my son goes back to school. He learned to ride his (first) new bicycle I bought him for his birthday three days ago, and I mowed my lawn for the last time this year. In MY mind fall has arrived. So I broke out the Mountain Man collection. Three easy passes with with the Game Changer and warm water for a change, and I’m ready to hit the rack. 5am comes early.
