SOTD OCtober 22nd Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap Blackland Blackbird OC Blackland Dart Gillette Silver Blue Simpson's CH2 "The Soap Destroyer"(27mm, Destroyer Class) Stirling Vanilla Sandalwood Nivea Sensitive PSB On this fine Monday morning let us observe a moment of silence for the sample of Stirling Vanilla Sandalwood that has departed us. I got eight great shaves from it, thus using up a whopping 3.75 grams of soap per shave.
It sounds like your sample performed its service well. May it always be remembered fondly and smell glorious forever. We salute you!
My Glacial Wintergreen trio froze the daylights out of me and gave me an awesome shave. My next Stirling outing will be Thursday with the Gin & Tonic on the Rocks.

Y'know, I've been seeing comments(not only in here, mostly other sites)that Polo and Drakkar Noir are getting "outdated". To those commenters, may I say that Clubman is still going strong since it began its "worldly" route in 1830.
Glorious shave with Autumn Glory this afternoon. Tremendous scent, wife loves it. (She doesn't normally like woodsy smells) This is a winner.
What put her over the top with Autumn Glory? I mean, did she say something like "This can't be woodsy, because I love it"?
Lol, Where you listening in? She loved the leafy smell vs the usual pine tree notes. It's fairly light and soft. On a side note, my 21yr old moved in with some friends and they were asking about all his shaving gear and bath soaps. (He only has Stirling and Mike's Natural) One has already converted to a safety razor and the others are looking into the Stirling. Glad that I raised the boy right!
I've said in here a few times-I really like seeing 20-something men go for real fancy shave products.
People love to brag about the latest and greatest, but just like you pointed out, good scents stick around. I grew up with every guy in my school drowning themselves in drakkar noir, so i personally dont like it that much, but it still a popular scent. Like fashon scents rotate in and out of popularity.
