I see you rinsed it off-I presume shavers wouldn't do that until it's all gone, not after the one shave. Also, how is it best covered on days not in use?

I've never heard of anyone saving and reusing leftover lather. I even rinse off the top of my soap after I'm done shaving.

Oh, so all that soap in the bowl is for just the one use...it just comes down to the number of passes done?

Pretty much. If course you can make less lather by loading less soap, so do you don't waste as much. But when you have a cabinet full of soap you tend not to worry about that so much.

Sometimes I take soap from samples and smear them on the bottom of my bowls and load the brush as I would from a jar. If there is enough soap left in the bowl for another shave, I'll give it a quick rinse and leave it in the bowl for another shave. If I don't think there is enough soap for another shave, I'll typically toss it. A lot of other shavers will save it and mix it with other "left over's" they may have.

I like the "popping" sound as you change its appearance.

Following my black friday order I fought the urge but broke down and put in another order to get the 2 band high density brush, as well as Deton-8 shave soap and a sample of Ramblin Man; I await its arrival with hopes this brush becomes my new favorite so I can justify the purchase with more ease!!!

Just checked my order progress for Texas on Fire--it's scheduled to arrive on Friday the 13th. That's not a bad omen, is it?

    Nice shave!

LOVE the Kong brush, btw. For the price, that thing is a steal; creates lather quickly, distributes it easily, and feels fantastic on the face. I believe there were a few people who complained about the handle's design, but I think it's perfect. A zero-buyer's-remorse purchase :)

Yes...soothing when it happens, but there's a lot of pressure prior to the moment :).

The Kong is a nominee in the 2020 Stoylin Tony Awards. Your commentary on it will help the one-man staff(me)in deciding the winner&runner up.
