1. I am hard pressed to pick it or Port au Prince as a favorite right now. Pretty hard to beat the Sheep.

  2. So what do you guys feel are spring/ summer soaps?

  3. As far as Stirling I keep:

    Limes
    Glacial Lemony Orange
    Glacial Margaritas in the Arctic
    Glacial Lemon Chill
    Black Ice
    Iced Pineapple
    Gin and Tonic
    Island Man
Piacenza - is light and springy to me
Electric Sheep - I use it year round but it feels more warm weather
    Coconut Lime
Port au Prince - light but earthy at the same time.

Stirling makes up most of my summer soaps. I have a couple others, but it makes up 95% of my shaves when the snow is gone.
  4. anything that resembles streams, grass, other forms of nature.

  5. I'm in Phoenix so anything with menthol is welcomed in the summer.
  6. Can someone comment on how much the menthol covers the SDM scent in Eskimo Tuxedo?

I'm asking because I just shaved with SDM, and the scent is really really nice. It was even better after I lathered with it.

I could see myself getting a jar of Eskimo Tuxedo

  7. Whats up fellow Stirling lovers. First time poster, but big time lover of everything Stirling. Im excited about the spring/summer line about to come out. My favorites right now are Electric Sheep, Port-au-Prince, MITA, Baker St, and Gatlinburg. I have around 10 or 12 more stirling scents I rotate in, but these are my go to's right now

  8. If it evens things out, it is one of my least favorite...And you know what kind of Stirling-crazed guy I am.
  9. Ah, a Gat fan :).

  10. Haha i used the bath soap yesterday and it was so good. Like a smoky little cabin in my bathroom. Had to go with Glacial Lemon to wake me up this morning

  11. I bought some aftershave samples a couple months ago. From the 4, it didn't take long for me to decide which one I'll buy in full-Sandpiper. I'd consider Gatlinburg, and also the Glacial Lemon for summer.

  12. Glacial lemon is actually available right now in the shave soap, Aftershave, and bath soap. If you wait a couple of weeks, Rod said they would be releasing the summer lineup (hello... Glacial MITA!), And then glacial black cherry is supposed to arrive a couple of weeks after that. I am quite excited.

  13. Check out their Scent Description page.
    https://www.stirlingsoap.com/product-scent-descriptions/

There they rate the amount of menthol on a 10 point scale.

  14. Yeah, I saw that. Awesome huh, lol. I'm just curious how much of the menthol over powers the base scent. In getting a jar of Glacial MITA for sure, but not sure about Eskimo Tuxedo yet. May just go with a sample of Rod makes them available this year (I think I read that they will be this time)

  15. Can anyone tell me which Stirling soap is most like B&M Arctique in scent and menthol level?

I liked it but I prefer the soap base Stirling has.

  16. The menthol is enough to clear your sinuses but then the Sharp Dressed Man comes right back out.

  17. I never used the Arctique soap but the Glacials are as I've said so many times, extremely cold. Any more menthol would cause the formula to collapse.

  18. That's what I wanted to hear, thank you
