Menthol Monday: L’Oréal Men Expert Facial Wash Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/Astra Green day 12 Stirling Glacial Strawberry Lemonade SS Prep ASB Stirling Glacial Strawberry Lemonade AS Splash Lately I’m saving my Glacials for the spring and summer but today I wanted to go with one of them so I selected the Strawberry Lemonade soap and aftershave. Wow, do I ever LOVE the scent - the strawberry seems to be the more dominant feature but the lemon shines through also. The soap’s tallow formula promotes such great lather with tons of the typical awesome Stirling slickness, the menthol sensation can freeze your face to smithereens, and the postshave is A1. The Prep balm really gave me a wonderful soothing and moisturizing feeling with some additional menthol cooling, while the Glacial Strawberry Lemonade aftershave hit me with two boatloads of frigid menthol - its gorgeous scent is also long lasting. Menthol Monday’s Grand Freeze: L’Oréal Men Expert Facial Wash Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/Wilkinson Sword day 5 Stirling Glacial Black Cherry SS Prep ASB Osage Rub AS Splash Bleu de Chanel Deodorant Stick Bleu de Chanel EdP This morning I wanted to be a Glacial boy so being that I was in the mood for a cherry scented soap I selected the Glacial Black Cherry. My God, does this soap ever smell awesome, the tallow formula gives it magnificent lather that’s so slick, the menthol sensation is killer cold like all the Glacials, and the skincare is numero uno. The Prep and the Rubby Dubby Doo as I call the Osage Rub provided plenty of extra soothing, moisturizing, and tons of additional menthol goodness. Last but not least the gorgeous Bleu de Chanel fragrance and I’m ready for another relaxing day of retirement. Three passes gave me a stunning BBS shave that was so much fun! Menthol Monday: A tremendous Grand Freeze! L’Oréal Men Expert Facial Wash Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/Wilkinson Sword day 5 Stirling Glacial Electric Sheep SS Prep ASB Floid Vigoroso AS Splash My face is so bloody frozen that I think it’ll take all to thaw out - my dear brother Rod’s Glacial Electric Sheep soap did a helluva number on me. I enjoyed everything about it - the beautiful lemony/citronella/eucalyptus scent, it lathered so thick, rich, creamy, super slick as well as protective, the menthol sensation started to pummel my face right away, and the postshave care was so comfortable as well as soothing. Needless to say the Prep provided lots of additional cooling, moisturizing care, and do I ever LOVE the lovely old school barbershop scent of the Floid Vigoroso aftershave as well as its icy cold menthol kick. Friday morning: King C. Gillette Facial Wash Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/Wilkinson Sword day 9 Stirling Sharp Dressed Man SS Aloe Vesta Moisturizer Bleu de Chanel AS Splash Bleu de Chanel Deodorant Stick Bleu de Chanel EdP Man oh man not only do I look gorgeous, (according to my wife!) I smell gorgeous. The Sharp Dressed Man soap provided tons of thick, rich, super slick beautifully scented lather as well as wonderful postshave care - my dear brother Rod is a true soap and aftershave genius. The Aloe Vesta moisturizer gave me great soothing, and finally the magnificent Bleu de Chanel fragrance in its aftershave, deodorant and eau de parfum completed the job. With the exception of my Gillette razor, this was an all-Stoylin shave this morning. (Good Friday): prep-Dial 4 Men Bodywash(Cedar Leaf)in shower shave-Stoylin Ramblin Man soap brush-Stoylin mid-sized "No Name" synthetic razor-Gillette Sensor Deuce Pivot DIsposeABLE A.S.-Stoylin Ramblin Man. Very well-done all around. Axrross the jawline, I did the "Ice-chippping" motion(course shave-wise you're talkin whiskers, not ice). Somehow I never get any cuts doing it that way. The only shocker was in applying the after shave to Cactus(neck). Boy, did I get a tingle!! Made me think of Jack Palance talkinabout his "tingle" while using Skin-Bracer(his classic TV ad). Back to my shave-2 passes, zero across the board on cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. As Outstanding As It Gets.

The soap is a tallow based treasure with such a beautiful scent, it lathers like a champ, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and like all of Rod’s soaps the postshave feeling is so comfortable. The matching balm and aftershave kept up the lovely lemony scent as well as the intense menthol freeze. Three glorious passes gave me such an awesome BBS shave that I enjoyed so much! The Prep balm is so soothing as well as moisturizing, and the Osage Rub-aka the Rubby Dubby Doo is another menthol atom bomb. Last but not least the irresistible Bleu de Chanel fragrance and I’m good to go. What else can I say - another tip top three pass BBS shave that was lots of fun! Wednesday morning’s Grand Freeze: L’Oréal Men Expert Facial Wash Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/Wilkinson Sword day 7 Stirling Glacial Citron SS Bundubeard Stoffel ASB Stirling Glacial Citron AS Splash Oh la la my dear brother Rod is a true soap and aftershave genius - his Glacial Citron……WOW!!!!!!!! The scent is so beautiful - it’s a blend of lemon, lime, and a little grapefruit, the soap’s tallow formula gives it such wonderful lather that’s so thick, rich, MEGA SLICK as well as protective, the menthol sensation is off the charts, and the postshave care is awesome. The Stoffel balm has a very nice peppermint scent, just a small amount is enough to coat your face with lots of moisturizing, and soothing, and is it ever freezing cold. I finished off with the beautifully scented Glacial Citron aftershave and it also gave me two boatloads of menthol goodness. L’Oréal Men Expert Facial Wash Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Junjie/Wilkinson Sword day 12 Stirling Glacial Obsidian SS Bundubeard Stoffel ASB Floid Vigoroso AS Splash My wife walked by my bathroom (she has hers and I have mine!) and she said she could smell the Glacial Obsidian soap when I was lathering up and shaving - man oh man do I ever LOVE its black licorice scent, it lathers like a beast, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and it has the typical fantastic Stirling skincare. The Stoffel balm from Bundubeard is another menthol atom bomb with a lovely peppermint scent and it’s so soothing as well as extremely moisturizing. Finally a couple of generous splashes of the Floid Vigoroso aftershave and my wife said that I smelled like an old barber - that’s how I love to smell. The Stoffel balm provides such wonderful soothing as well as moisturizing along with tons of menthol goodness, and the Rubby Dubby Doo is another menthol atom bomb. Finally the gorgeous Bleu de Chanel fragrance and I’m ready to enjoy another day of retirement - hey, it’s Victoria Day here in Canada! Gillette Facial Wash Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Junjie/Wilkinson Sword day 9 Stirling Electric Sheep SS Cera Ve Moisturizer Brut Attraction Totale AS Splash Do I ever LOVE this Electric Sheep soap - everything about it to me is fantastic. The scent is lovely - it’s a blend of citronella, lemon, with some eucalyptus thrown in for good measure, its mutton tallow formula gives the lather wonderful thickness, richness, as well as super slickness, and it leaves my skin feeling like it’s born again. The Cera Ve moisturizer works great as a balm, and the Brut Attraction Totale aftershave smells quite nice. Three passes resulted in a fabulous, enjoyable BBS shave! Friday morning’s Grand Freeze: Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Junjie/Wilkinson Sword day 2 Stirling Glacial Citron SS Bundubeard Stoffel ASB Stirling Glacial Citron AS Splash A beautiful sunny morning here in town with warm temperatures expected so I decided to pull out some of my mentholated heavy artillery. Wow, the Glacial Citron soap and aftershave have such a beautiful scent - lemon, lime, tangerine and a little grapefruit all come together to give a great refreshing effect, the soap’s tallow formula gives it awesome lather with the famous Stirling slickness, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and the postshave feeling is so comfortable - moisturizing and very soothing. The Stoffel balm from Bundubeard has a lovely peppermint scent and powerful menthol, not to mention how frigid the Glacial Citron aftershave is. I'm going to have to purchase Stoylin Noir A.S. to match the PIF I just received, a shave soap similar to Drakkar Noir. But I'lll have to wait till fall when it is more "in season".

Like the regular version of Electric Sheep it’s mutton tallow based with the same lovely citronella/lemony/eucalyptus scent, it gives brilliant lather with so much slickness, the menthol sensation is enough to knock down a horse, but the postshave feeling is so soothing and comfortable. The Stoffel balm from Bundubeard is incredibly moisturizing, I love its peppermint scent, and is it ever freezing cold. Finally the Floid Vigoroso aftershave went on with its gorgeous old school barbershop scent and a terrific menthol punch. Three passes gave me one helluva great BBS shave that was sheer rapture!
