Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/Derby day 6 Stirling Glacial Iceberg Island SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Stirling Glacial Iceberg Island AS Splash Brrrrrrrrrrrrr cold and beautiful is the way to describe the scent of the Glacial Iceberg Island soap and aftershave - this is one of the newer Glacial scents that Rod and Mandy released this year. I had such tremendous lather from the soap, that gorgeous scent filled my bathroom, the menthol sensation froze my face to smithereens, and the postshave feeling was delightful - so soothing as well as comfortable. The Gold Bond moisturizer gave me lots of extra soothing along with a nice menthol coolness, and the Glacial Iceberg Island aftershave froze me out completely along with its magnificent scent - my wife loves it on me. Saturday morning’s Grand Freeze: Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/new Astra Green Stirling Glacial Cedar SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Stirling Glacial Cedar AS Splash It’s been almost a week since I posted here because I’ve been so damned busy but here I am again. The 7 AM blades I’ve been using are so crummy - after two or three shaves they become so dull and tuggy because of my tough stubble so this morning I changed to an Astra Green blade and I got fantastic results. The Glacial Cedar soap and aftershave smell so beautiful - the soap lathers like a champ, it’s full of slickness, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and the postshave care is wonderful. The Gold Bond moisturizer is so cooling as well as soothing, and the Glacial Cedar aftershave is another menthol atom bomb with the same gorgeous scent as the soap. Saturday morning’s Grand Freeze: L’Oréal Men Expert Facial Wash Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/Astra Green day 8 Stirling Glacial Mango Sunrise SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Floid Vigoroso AS Splash This Glacial Mango Sunrise is absolutely fantastic - the scent is so gorgeous - it’s one of the newer Glacial soaps which Rod and Mandy released this spring, the lather, like ALL of their soaps is awesome, the menthol sensation is so intense, and it’s chock full of soothing skincare that the Gold Bond moisturizer enhances so well. Finally, a couple of splashes of the Floid Vigoroso aftershave and I was good to go - do I ever LOVE that old school barbershop scent and that powerful menthol kick that it gives. I'm sure it was a great shave setup, coming from Doc and Nurse Ezlovan. But I'm not sure I'd go for a "tootty-fruity" scent for a shave. Having said that, I like their Lemon Chill, but for me it's better in a Glacial persuasion, to help "freeze" the scent.
Sunday morning’s Grand Freeze: L’Oréal Men Expert Facial Wash Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/Astra Green day 9 Stirling Glacial Electric Sheep SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Noble Otter Northern Elixir AS Splash Bleu de Chanel Deodorant Stick Bleu de Chanel Parfum Did I ever freeze my face off with the Glacial Electric Sheep soap - yikes is it ever frigid. I LOVE its scent, it gave me tons of wonderful lather, and it left my skin feeling not only icy cold but so soothed and comfortable thanks to its mutton tallow formula. The Gold Bond moisturizer is also nice and cooling as well as soothing not to mention how bone chillingly cold the Northern Elixir aftershave is. Last but not least the magnificent Bleu de Chanel fragrance topped it all off. Another perfect three pass BBS that was lots of fun! Enjoy your Sunday - be well and stay safe! Not only are they very sharp they’re also really smooth. The Glacial Frozen Tuxedo soap and aftershave have the same magnificent scent as the Sharp Dressed Man or the Creed Green Irish Tweed but they’re loaded to the hilt with frigid menthol. It’s an exact copy of the Island Man which is an exact copy of the Creed Virgin Island Water. The soap gave me tons of fabulous lather which was so slick as well as protective, the menthol sensation hit me like a ton of frigid bricks, and the postshave feeling was so comfortable. The Gold Bond moisturizer worked its magic - it’s not only very cooling, it’s so soothing, and the Glacial Iceberg Island aftershave went on icy cold along with its delightful scent that I love so much. The Gold Bond moisturizer felt so cooling as well as soothing, and the Glacial Cedar aftershave went on frigidly cold along with its beautiful scent. Gillette Facial Wash Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/Astra Green day 6 Stirling Glacial Mango Sunrise SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Floid Vigoroso AS Splash This Mango Sunrise is one of the newer Glacial soaps that Rod released this year and I LOVE it. The scent is so awesome - along with the mango I also pick up some other notes such as cream as well as a bit of musk. Does it ever lather like a champ, it has tons of slickness, there’s a boatload of freezing cold menthol, and it gives wonderful skincare. The Gold Bond moisturizer doesn’t lack menthol either and it’s so soothing - it’s perfect as a balm. Finally the Floid Vigoroso aftershave with its delightful old school barbershop scent and its icy cold menthol kick and I’m good to go. Another great three pass BBS shave - no complaints whatsoever! The scent is brilliant - lemon, lime, grapefruit, and a bit of tangerine all come together beautifully to make this stuff so refreshing and summery, the soap lathers like there’s no tomorrow, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and the skincare is perfect. The Gold Bond moisturizer felt so soothing as well as chilly, and the Glacial Citron aftershave went on with its frigid menthol kick. Finally the Eau Sauvage fragrance which is so old school classy and I’m ready to enjoy another day of retirement. Three glorious passes gave me a most enjoyable BBS shave! It smells MAGNIFICENT - it’s an exact copy of the Virgin Island Water from Creed. The soap provided so much thick, rich, super slick lather with a monstrous menthol sensation and such a soothing postshave feeling. The Gold Bond moisturizer works so well as a balm, and the Glacial Iceberg Island aftershave icy cold menthol kick felt so heavenly not to mention that its gorgeous scent lasts all day.
