Menthol Monday’s Grand Freeze: Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/Astra Green day 10 Stirling Glacial Mango Sunrise SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Noble Otter Northern Elixir AS Splash Givenchy Pour Homme EdT Not only does this Glacial Mango Sunrise feel like liquid nitrogen on my skin and lather like a maniac it smells so beautiful. Along with the mango scent I catch other notes such as cream and a bit of musk - what a delightful scent. The Gold Bond moisturizer is so good as a balm, and the Northern Elixir aftershave is another menthol atom bomb with a nice peppermint/eucalyptus scent. Finally the Givenchy Pour Homme fragrance which I received two years ago - it smells aquatic and fresh. Three passes gave me a brilliant BBS shave that I enjoyed to the max! Wednesday morning: Warm shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/Astra Green day 12 Stirling Frozen Tundra SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Alt Innsbruck AS Splash Not quite a Grand Freeze but close - the Frozen Tundra is the second coldest soap after the Glacials. I love its scent which is a beautiful blend of peppermint, wintergreen, and earthy notes, the lather is fabulous, the menthol sensation is pretty damned strong, and it’s so skin friendly. The Gold Bond moisturizer felt so soothing as well as cooling, and the Alt Innsbruck aftershave gives a good menthol kick along with its delightful old school European scent that I love so much.
