Menthol Monday’s Grand Freeze: Quick shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/Wilkinson day 13 Stirling Glacial Citron SS Bundubeard Stoffel ASB Stirling Glacial Citron AS Splash Christian Dior Eau Sauvage EdT This setup…….oh my goodness……it’s so frigid - if you can’t handle intense menthol then stay away from it and leave it for me. The scent of this Glacial Citron is so beautiful - lemon, lime, and a little grapefruit all come together to make it so refreshing. The soap is a tallow based lather monster with such awesome slickness, the menthol sensation hits like a ton of bitterly cold bricks, and the postshave feeling is wonderful. The Stoffel balm is also a bona fide face freezer with a very nice peppermint scent, and it gives lots of soothing as well as moisturizing. The Glacial Citron aftershave seems to pair so well with the Eau Sauvage fragrance. Three passes did me proud - such a terrific BBS shave despite the blade getting duller. Saturday morning’s Grand Freeze: Quick shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/Wilkinson day 4 Stirling Frozen Tundra SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Noble Otter Northern Elixir AS Splash This morning the Frozen Tundra felt so bloody cold that I thought I was shaving with a Glacial soap - this stuff is actually one small step lower than the Glacials. The scent is so beautiful - it’s got wintergreen, peppermint, and earthy notes to it, the lather is AWESOME, it’s so slick, the menthol pummelled my face non stop, and the postshave feeling was wonderful. The Gold Bond moisturizer is also very chilly as well as soothing, and the Northern Elixir aftershave smells great - it’s a blend of eucalyptus and peppermint not to mention how frigid it is. Sunday morning’s Grand Freeze: Quick shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/Wilkinson day 12 Stirling Glacial Obsidian SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Osage Rub AS Splash Versace Dreamer EdT Lots of icicles in my face today - the Glacial Obsidian soap froze me to smithereens. I love its black licorice scent, it gave me tons of awesome lather with lots of slickness, and the postshave feeling was wonderful like ALL of Rod’s fantastic soaps. The Gold Bond moisturizer works so well as a balm, and the Rubby Dubby Doo worked its frigid magic. Last but not least the lovely Dreamer fragrance which was a gift from my wife’s cousin.
