Saturday morning’s Freaky Grand Freeze: Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/7 AM day 14 (last day) Stirling Glacial Citron SS Bundubeard Stoffel ASB Stirling Glacial Citron AS Splash OMG, after using a setup like this it’s a miracle that my face didn’t disintegrate because the menthol power is so STRONG. The Glacial Citron soap and aftershave’s scent is delightful - it’s lemony driven but with notes of lime, and tangerine, the soap is a lather monster that has so much slickness, as soon as the brush makes contact with your skin the menthol sensation hits you, and the skincare is typical Stirling perfection. The Stoffel balm provided such moisturizing along with a whopping menthol feeling of its own, and the Glacial Citron aftershave went on frigidly cold. This 7 AM blade is at the end of the road but it gave me one last hoorah with a great three pass BBS shave that I thoroughly enjoyed! Wishing you all a lovely day - be well and stay safe! Wednesday morning’s Nuclear Grand Freeze: Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/7 AM day 4 Stirling Glacial Cedar SS Bundubeard Stoffel ASB Stirling Glacial Cedar AS Splash Azzaro Wanted By Night EdP No fooling around today - it’s going to be 40 Celsius with the humidity factor so it had to be a FRIGID setup. The Glacial Cedar soap and aftershave smell so beautiful and give a menthol sensation that can knock a polar bear on his tukhis. The Wanted By Night fragrance from Azzaro is nice, yes but it’s not something I would buy again. All in all a great three pass BBS shave that was most enjoyable. Off to my pool soon! Menthol Monday’s Frigid Report: Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/7 AM day 2 Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill SS Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill ASB Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill AS Splash Christian Dior Eau Sauvage EdT Cold enough to make a polar bear run away from the Arctic but so enjoyable if you’re a hardcore menthol maniac like little old me - this Glacial Lemon Chill trio is such a delight. I find that the Eau Sauvage fragrance pairs very well with this trio because it’s also lemony based. Three passes delivered such a wonderful BBS shave - wow!!!!!!! I’m back again with a major Grand Freeze: Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/7 AM day 8 Stirling Glacial Strawberry Lemonade SS Bundubeard Stoffel ASB Stirling Glacial Strawberry Lemonade AS Splash I really should have waited until this evening or tomorrow morning to shave because today is Tisha B’av but I have to admit that I was not able to resist. This Glacial Strawberry Lemonade stuff smells so delightful - the strawberry notes seem to be more dominant but the lemony aspect is definitely noticeable. The soap lathers fabulously, there’s so much slickness, the menthol sensation is off the charts, and the postshave feeling is so soothing as well as moisturizing. The Stoffel balm’s peppermint scent is so nice, there’s PLENTY of menthol in it, and you wouldn’t believe how moisturizing it is - it leaves my skin feeling like it was born again. Finally the Glacial Strawberry Lemonade aftershave went on with a POWERFUL menthol kick and its beautiful scent lasts almost all day. The Glacial Frozen Tuxedo soap’s lather buried my face, the slickness was awesome, the menthol sensation was killer cold, and the postshave feeling was A1. The Stoffel balm felt so additionally moisturizing as well as soothing, and the Glacial Frozen Tuxedo aftershave went on bone chillingly cold - the scent lasts almost all day. (According to my beautiful wife!) The Glacial Iceberg Island soap and aftershave are two precious treasures - the scent is an exact copy of Virgin Island Water from Creed, the soap delivered tons of magnificent lather that was slick, the menthol sensation was off the charts, the blade glide was superb, and the skincare was wonderful like every Stirling product I’ve used. The Stoffel balm provided plenty of additional menthol goodness along with tons of moisturizing and soothing not to mention how frigid the Glacial Iceberg Island aftershave was - that magnificent scent has terrific staying power. Wednesday morning - close to being a Grand Freeze: Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/7 AM day 4 Stirling Frozen Tundra SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS Splash This Frozen Tundra is so awesome - it’s the second coldest Stirling soap after the Glacials. The scent is beautiful - it reminds me somehow of the Glacial Wintergreen, just not as intense, its tallow formula promotes fabulous, super slick lather, the menthol sensation is potent, and the skincare is great. The Gold Bond moisturizer gave me plenty of soothing with a nice menthol feeling, and the Aqua Velva aftershave went on icy cold - do I ever love its old school scent. I just received some PRAIA from Stirling Soap. The aftershave splash, shave soap,, and bath soap, and am over the moon on this awesome scent. My wife and son agree, PRAIA is my all time favorite soap now.
