I find that the Eau Sauvage fragrance pairs very well with this trio because it’s also lemony based. Three passes delivered such a wonderful BBS shave - wow!!!!!!! I’m back again with a major Grand Freeze: Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/7 AM day 8 Stirling Glacial Strawberry Lemonade SS Bundubeard Stoffel ASB Stirling Glacial Strawberry Lemonade AS Splash I really should have waited until this evening or tomorrow morning to shave because today is Tisha B’av but I have to admit that I was not able to resist. This Glacial Strawberry Lemonade stuff smells so delightful - the strawberry notes seem to be more dominant but the lemony aspect is definitely noticeable. The soap lathers fabulously, there’s so much slickness, the menthol sensation is off the charts, and the postshave feeling is so soothing as well as moisturizing. The Stoffel balm’s peppermint scent is so nice, there’s PLENTY of menthol in it, and you wouldn’t believe how moisturizing it is - it leaves my skin feeling like it was born again. Finally the Glacial Strawberry Lemonade aftershave went on with a POWERFUL menthol kick and its beautiful scent lasts almost all day. The Glacial Frozen Tuxedo soap’s lather buried my face, the slickness was awesome, the menthol sensation was killer cold, and the postshave feeling was A1. The Stoffel balm felt so additionally moisturizing as well as soothing, and the Glacial Frozen Tuxedo aftershave went on bone chillingly cold - the scent lasts almost all day. Saturday morning’s Atomic Grand Freeze: Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/7 AM day 7 Stirling Glacial Iceberg Island SS Bundubeard Stoffel ASB Stirling Glacial Iceberg Island AS Splash Not only am I frozen stiff and super BBS, I smell so beautiful and sexy! (According to my beautiful wife!) The Glacial Iceberg Island soap and aftershave are two precious treasures - the scent is an exact copy of Virgin Island Water from Creed, the soap delivered tons of magnificent lather that was slick, the menthol sensation was off the charts, the blade glide was superb, and the skincare was wonderful like every Stirling product I’ve used. The Stoffel balm provided plenty of additional menthol goodness along with tons of moisturizing and soothing not to mention how frigid the Glacial Iceberg Island aftershave was - that magnificent scent has terrific staying power. Wednesday morning - close to being a Grand Freeze: Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/7 AM day 4 Stirling Frozen Tundra SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS Splash This Frozen Tundra is so awesome - it’s the second coldest Stirling soap after the Glacials. The scent is beautiful - it reminds me somehow of the Glacial Wintergreen, just not as intense, its tallow formula promotes fabulous, super slick lather, the menthol sensation is potent, and the skincare is great. The Gold Bond moisturizer gave me plenty of soothing with a nice menthol feeling, and the Aqua Velva aftershave went on icy cold - do I ever love its old school scent. I just received some PRAIA from Stirling Soap. The aftershave splash, shave soap,, and bath soap, and am over the moon on this awesome scent. My wife and son agree, PRAIA is my all time favorite soap now.

Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/7 AM day 9 Stirling Glacial Mango Sunrise SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Floid Vigoroso AS Splash It felt like heaven to start off September with a Grand Freeze - this Glacial Mango Sunrise soap not only smells gorgeous, it lathers wonderfully, it’s so intensely COLD, and it’s so skin friendly like ALL of my Stirling soaps - my dear brother Rod is a soap and aftershave master. The Gold Bond moisturizer works great as a balm, and the Floid Vigoroso aftershave is another menthol atom bomb with such a beautiful old school barbershop scent that I love so much. Menthol Monday’s Nuclear Grand Freeze: Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/Crystal day 5 Stirling Glacial Electric Sheep SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Floid Vigoroso AS Splash Mama mia, this was the coldest shave I’ve had in a while - the Glacial Electric Sheep did a helluva number on my face. This soap is mutton tallow based, it has the same awesome scent as the regular Electric Sheep soap, the lather is such a pleasure to whip up, the menthol sensation is killer cold like all the Glacials, and the postshave care is superb. The Gold Bond moisturizer gave me plenty of extra soothing, and the Floid Vigoroso aftershave went on frigidly cold along with its delightful old school barbershop scent that I love so much. Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/Crystal day 7 Stirling Glacial Frozen Tuxedo SS Gold Bond Moisturizer Stirling Glacial Frozen Tuxedo AS Splash Not only am I almost numb from this Glacial Frozen Tuxedo stuff, I smell absolutely BEAUTIFUL. (Even the wife said so!) This soap has such a magnificent scent, the lather is so thick, rich, as well as super slick, the menthol sensation is almost borderline painful, (in a good way!) and the postshave care is fantastic. The Gold Bond moisturizer has plenty of menthol in it also and it’s so soothing. Finally the Glacial Frozen Tuxedo aftershave went on with two boatloads of frigid menthol and its gorgeous scent. Saturday morning’s Insane Grand Freeze: Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/Perma Sharp day 7 Stirling Glacial Obsidian SS Diana Menthol Balm Floid Vigoroso AS Splash After using a setup like this it’s a miracle how my face didn’t disintegrate because the menthol was so intense. The Glacial Obsidian soap’s anise scent is so beautiful, the lather is amazing, it’s so slick which is so typical of Rod’s soaps, the freeze kicked in immediately, and the postshave care is numero uno. The Diana balm is from Austria and it’s pretty well unscented, it’s also loaded with frigid menthol not to mention how soothing it is. Finally the Floid Vigoroso aftershave went on with its delightful old school barbershop scent as well as a lulu menthol kick. Menthol Monday’s Intense Grand Freeze: Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/7 O’Clock day 3 Stirling Glacial Electric Sheep SS Diana Menthol Balm Noble Otter Northern Elixir AS Splash Actually “intense” is a bit of an understatement because this setup can wreak havoc on anybody who’s not not able to tolerate this type of menthol - the Glacial Electric Sheep is one of the coldest soaps on the market - do I ever LOVE its scent, it’s mutton tallow based, the lather it provides is magnificent, it’s so damned slick, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and the skincare is A1. The Diana balm is from Austria, it’s pretty much unscented, it’s very soothing as well as moisturizing, and it delivers tons of icy cold menthol. Finally the Northern Elixir aftershave went on frigidly cold with its nice peppermint/eucalyptus scent. The cedar scent of this soap is so beautiful and there are other notes to it as well. (Perhaps lime?) The tallow formula promotes such wonderful lather with so much slickness, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and the postshave feeling is so comfortable. The Diana balm from Austria is unscented and bone chillingly cold as well as moisturizing with lots of soothing. Finally the Glacial Cedar aftershave went on with its delightful scent along with a whopping strong menthol kick. Three passes gave me a brilliant BBS shave that was fit for a king!
