If you guys would have seen the lather I got from the Glacial Lemon Chill soap you would have freaked out. The container I'm using is getting closer and closer to the end but it's still delivering. The menthol freeze jumped on me right away and each following pass made it stronger. It's scent is fresh, pure, tangy lemon which smells so delicious. Another Glacial shave for tomorrow but I don't which scent yet.
Executive Man will be back on Friday . As for the colognes, they are still a ways off. We went way over budget on the expansion and I don't have two nickels to rub together right now, much less enough to make a wholesale purchase for cologne bottles. They are still in the plans, but I do apologize that it won't be sooner.
It looks like I need to ramp up my efforts in singing your praises to everyone to get y'all some buying customers
Three Glacial shaves in a row for me - it's gonna be the Obsidian soap (a brand-new tub!) and balm for tomorrow!
Today was Stirling Blu and it was awesome! Love the warm sweet scent of melon and mandarin orange or at least that is what is listed for Pilo Blue. No matter what the exact scents are, it is definitely a keeper!
Well, @Paul Turner mentioned Sandpiper in another thread, and it caused a revelation that I should that scent tomorrow. So, Sandpiper soap and splash for tomorrow's shave! Looking forward to it. Terrific scent.
Maybe that'll be my second Stirling soap. I'm already trying to line up my winter purchases so I can have a successful NB18.
Hey, that Stirling Sandpiper A.S. is quite good! Dolphin smooth face&neck, and the great Sandpiper scent. Manly.
Glacial Obsidian was nice and cold. I do love licorice and the taste of anisette liquor and this just is another way to enjoy that scent. Awesome lather, great scent. I enjoyed the fact that this is one of the few non minty/non citrusy menthol soaps Rod and Amanda makes. I hope they add a few more.
I agree! Superb shave this morning with Sandpiper soap and the splash always feels great. Terrific scent.
Frank, as I said in my SoS post this morning it was either a fluke that I was able to get through the menthol bombardment or maybe I'm just tough because I started a brand-new Obsidian tub today and not only is it from a batch which Rod made two years ago, but the lather seems even richer, better, and easier to whip up than the one I had previously finished and to top it off the menthol sensation seems to be even stronger. I did three passes with it and by the time I was finished shaving, my face felt like it was going to come off. The new Glacials are now equally as cold as the Cryogen and you get three added bonuses - they smell great, they lather so easily, and the skincare is A-1. The matching balm feels just as cold and I can't believe how soothing it is. The anise scent doesn't last too, too long so it won't spoil the scent of a cologne or an eau de toilette. My wife said to me that she thought the Obsidian was the Black Ice but when I had her sniff the soap she nearly fainted!
