This is the classical dialect of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, as well as Abu Dhabi. I'm also a specialist in Lebanese, Palestinian, Syrian, and Egyptian Arabic!
Monday I plan to use the Glacial Obsidian soap and balm. That's a freeze to kick the mighty Cryogen out of the park and the Arctique aftershave makes a great chaser!
I used the same combo today. The first couple of shaves, I wasn't sure about it, but it has grown into one of -if not the top of- my favourites. Unfortunately, SWMBO doesn't share my sentiments about it...
Late posting. Yesterday was Piacenza! I love this scent. It fires on all cylinders for me. Rod lists the scent as,'Piacenza is close to Parma. A blend of citrus, florals, Rosemary, Amber, and musk'. All the things this Italian loves. There are a few scents I would pick if I could only have one soap and this is one of them. Then again, who could have just one Stirling soap!!!
I don't know if I have a different nose or what, but I don't get overwhelmed with cloves in BF. It's sorta root beer-esq, but not really. It's a very complex scent that changes constantly. Loading to clean up is almost like using different soap for each step.
Because I used no Stirling stuff today I'll make up for it tomorrow with the Glacial Obsidian soap and balm. Today's shave with the Krampert's Frostbite soap was still plenty cold, but where does it compare to anything Glacial? Lol
Yeah, Piacenza is really a favorite soap of mine. I even scooped a bunch of it into a stick so I could bring it with me during the week when I travel.
It is definitely complex. I know one time I said it was the scent for people who want to like bay rum, but don't. It isn't bay rum, but it is like it's in the same family.
