Thanks Tom, this one seemed allusive, every time I saw them for sale they always were priced out of my budget for that razor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’ve added two Le Grelots, a 14 and a ‘Lame Mobile’ Fleur d’Acier (flower of steel) frameback. Here’s the frameback from France, appears to to be new, both blades, screwdriver, and original coffin.
Here’s the 14, it will need new scales, and the images weren’t the best, but the price was worth the gamble - the square nose Grelot 14 are less common than the round nose, and there doesn’t appear to be much wear. On the way from Italy, wish me luck!
Thanks Steve, it is in very good shape and now has a permanent home. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This arrived last night, a 7/8 Drew Dick 2 layers Damascus in Mexican Kingwood scales. She is half hollow with a smile. The scales are beautiful but I did a poor job of capturing them in the picture.
Ralf Aust 7/8th This is my first Ralf Aust razor, I thought I would give it a try. I like the feel of the razor already, for a production razor it seems tight. I will find out soon enough once it goes on my face. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
A Couple of Clauss razors made it to the mailbox... always keeping an eye out for a USMC razor, but these will do for now. First is a pretty clean and simple 13/16 full hollow in bakelite. It just spoke to me... in a good way. The next Clauss is a Royal Brand razor. At first glance I wasn’t sure if the heel design was factory, but saw other examples, and it is... so I got $6.50 out and forked it over. Technically it was an auction, so I’m glad I was the only one watching. And the gold wash is still in good shape... I’m leaning towards tiger??? Fun pair of quality vintage razors out of Fremont, Ohio. Happy hunting, Tom
I know, I just acquired a 10/8th custom, should have it once it gets cleaned up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
